Björn Mulik

Björn Mulik DJ, Producer, Remixes & Label Bjoern Mulik (a.k.a. MULIK and Skinny Bee) is one of the pioneers of Tech- House music in Germany. To him there are no boundaries.

His passion for music begins at early age, growing up in Kenya, and initiates and reveals the world of the DJ to the Frankfurt-techno-metropolis-born half- Italian. It is around that time when House music is born and DJs learn their skills on turntables to rock the crowd a whole night long and tell a vinyl-story. The affinity to electronic music over the years draws attention on national and inter

national events in clubs and on festivals playing with the premier league. Mulik´s musical consciousness reaches much further than a genre can verbalize. A continious list of releases over 2 decades as a remixer, solo artist or in co-operation shows his ability to reincarnate into different soundscapes. Bjoern revives the soul of E-music from the eighties & nineties and transforms it with his style into the spirit of modern electronic music.

Seit März bietet das MOMEM jeden Samstag Dj-Workshops für Anfänger:innen an. Anlässlich der MILESTONES OF HIP HOP Ausstellung in Kooperation mit der Ausstellung “THE CULTURE” in der KUNSTHALLE SCHIRN FRANKFURT im wöchentlichen Wechsel zwischen Techno/ House und HipHop/ scratch workshops. Diesen Samstag wieder mit Björn Mulik.

Wie immer gilt: alle sind herzlich willkommen und Vorkenntnisse sind nicht nötig.


Für alle Musikliebhaber, die schon immer die Faszination des Auflegens mit echten Platten erleben wollten, bieten wir einen einzigartigen Workshop an. Denn das DJing mit Schallplatten ist mehr als nur das Abspielen von Musik – es ist ein authentisches Handwerk, das Geschick, Leidenschaft und ein Gespür für den Moment erfordert. Hier gibt es keinen „Sync Button” oder vorgefertigte Loops, die den Mix perfektionieren.

Unsere Workshops bieten eine einzigartige Gelegenheit für Neugierige, das authentische „analoge DJ-Feeling” hautnah zu erleben. Unter der Anleitung erfahrener DJs lernen die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer die Grundlagen des
Plattenauflegens kennen. Von der richtigen Handhabung der Plattenspieler bis hin zum Beatmatching und dem Erzeugen nahtloser Übergänge – jeder Schritt wird ausführlich erklärt und praktisch geübt. Unser Ziel ist es, die Begeisterung für das DJing mit echten Platten zu entfachen und den Teilnehmenden das nötige Wissen und Selbstvertrauen zu vermitteln, um ihre eigene kreative Reise als DJs zu beginnen.
