Prodigal Son was initiated in 2010 as a result of reconnecting with old friends via facebook. The first event was promoted as "Friends and Friends of Friends Soiree (a Prodigal Son Event) held at the Indianapolis Conrad Hilton during Indiana Black Expo 2010. This was followed by a thirteen person trip from Phoenix to California for the Summer Sizzle. It was these two events and through the founder
's marketing of YES Vodka and Euphoric Energy as well as realationship's with BTW concerts/Desert Ridge Jazz Fest, Biggwhale Distribution, Doc's Place and others the Prodigal Son movement evolved.
