Authentic. Real. Empowering.
We are proudly celebrating 26 years of existence. Abu Dhabi Mums was born in 1994 with a group of only four mums and their children, who met each week to socialize. Today, we have over 17,000 followers and close to 4,000 members in our private Members’ Only group and a new edition, Abu Dhabi Mums’ Buy and Sell Facebook group which is rapidly growing. The administration lovelies are utterly committed to maintaining the unique, supportive, caring community that Abu Dhabi Mums has become.
As the only volunteer based group in the UAE committed to parents and their children, we provide a platform for relevant information, cultural things to do in Abu Dhabi, services, support, inspiration and occasional laughs, for amazing dads and moms like yourself and likewise, moms to be.
Please note that until further notice, based on Abu Dhabi’s Government Regulations and Guidelines with regard to COVID-19, all our regular activities, playdates and coffee mornings are temporarily suspended.
We offer:
Stay & Play Sessions. This is a great way for you and your child/children to socialize, learn and have loads of fun! A two (2) hour session. Five (5) times a week, morning sessions from 9.30am -11.30am, Sundays - Thursdays at The Dome@Rawdhat and Najmat Football Centre at Al Reem. Also, we have afternoon sessions once a week. We have “Tuesday Tunes and Stay & Play” at the Najmat Football Centre at Al Reem and “Stay & Play” at The Dome at Rawdhat on Wednesdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Coffee and cookies add to the relaxing atmosphere in which you can meet and chat with other mothers, share ideas about how you can support your child’s learning through everyday activities, while your child/children play with other children and toys. Through play and interaction, children’s self-worth is boosted as well as their fine motor skills, social skills, especially when it comes to sharing and taking turns. In addition, children engaged in play supports their cognitive development.
All this for only 21 AED per family, per visit, paid to the reception of The Dome/ Al Reem.
