DAFFODIL DAY X BRAVE FOR DAVE

If you haven’t heard … we are donating 50% of all profits made through our Daffodil Day special to the ‘BRAVE for DAVE’ foundation.

Here’s some information about the beautiful locally curated foundation B4D …

“In December 2021, Dave was diagnosed with Brain Cancer - Stage IV Glioblastoma. The most malignant, deadly and treatment-resistant cancers.

Following his diagnosis, Dave underwent surgical resection, six weeks of concurrent chemotherapy and radiation, and intravenous Avastin.

In May 2022, Dave had a recurrence with substantial tumour growth throughout his brain. Alongside this, he was also diagnosed with Leptomeningeal disease.

Two months later on 11 July, Dave passed.

The survival rate for Glioblastoma is less than 5% and carries a prognosis of 12-14 months. This type of brain cancer can also double in size within weeks.

Dave’s wife, Chloe and children. Duke and Banks, are continuing the fight and keeping Dave's memory alive through BRAVE FOR DAVE. With the aim to raise brain cancer awareness, advocate and support patients and families and to honour all brain cancer heroes currently fighting and passed.

Brave for Dave has raised over $50,000 towards brain cancer research and are continuing to lobby the South Australian Government to put in place a specialised brain tumour nurse to help patients navigate what is such a complex and unrelenting disease.

It is critical to keep raising awareness on this lethal disease and to advocate for all patients who have been dealt the deadly card of brain cancer.”

Thursday, August 31st marks Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day and Dreamy Daiz wants to help support life-saving cancer research in the best way we know how … BLOOMS (in the form of Daffodils … of course)

We will be donating 100% of all profits made …
⁃ 50% will be donated directly to Cancer Cancer Australia
⁃ With the other 50% being donated lovingly to the ‘BRAVE for DAVE’ foundation

$30 for a little bunch
$50 for a large bunch

Orders will be ready to collect on Saturday 02/09 - Sunday 03/09
