Black Frog is run by a Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Fan with a passion for working alongside up and coming and established bands to help them where needed.. Black Frog started life in New Zealand on February 10th 2010 with the first gig being organised in 3 weeks for Save the Children for their work in Haiti, after the 2010 earthquake, $700 was raised. lbum that is all the Black Frog shows that were run during 2010-2018 while in New Zealand and Australia. Prior to Black Frog I cut my teeth volunteering on other events – doing flyer drops, working the door and merch tables more times than I can count as well as stage managing many gigs and festivals. I also worked a lot in the mainstream music world on the NZ Music Awards for three years and one of the largest New Years Festivals in the world – Northern Bass Festival. Originally Black Frog’s goal was world domination for New Zealand bands but after spending most of 2018 couch surfing the UK and European Metal community I’ve fallen in love with the people and bands in the Northern Hemisphere which lead me in 2019 to doing two North American/Canada tours behind the merch desk as well as numerous European shows and Festivals – which is how I’ve found myself now settling in England... of course looking forward to the day the world opens up again and I can bring my favourite New Zealand and Australian bands to tour the UK, Europe and beyond with my new family of bands here - and of course taking my new family down under to play with my first musical family! Having had 6 months of Lockdown in England has made me realise how much I NEED music – to me it’s like eating and breathing, I need it to survive. Which is why I have decided to start up Black Frog again and start to work with a new family of bands in my new country and beyond. I bring to you Black Frog 2.0

Saturday of August bank holiday weekend I'm stage managing the VERY FIRST WIRRAL PRIDE EVENT!!! It is being held in the first town that I called home in the UK and first place outside of New Zealand that I unpacked my suitcase for longer than 6 months. It is a truly beautiful place filled with absolutely beautiful people and I'm so so excited to be back helping organise events again!! This is both the first of many pride events on the Wirral and also the first of many events I'm getting involved in, in my new home. Please share far and wide with your friends and families. This is definitely a family event with a kids area with face painting and games, a wide ranging market featuring food and crafts as well as a range of support services. Pride is here to stay in New Brighton and we hope for this to also be a start to more services being made available here. I can't wait!! More information at New Brighton Pride and I'll post the link to the Facebook event in the comments.

I'd like to give a warm heavy metal welcome to Atanamir who are joining the Black Frog family for Management and Bookings!

Atanamir are from my new home and we are working on their brand new full length album 'UNKNOWN WORLD PHOBIA' it sounds so fu***ng HEAVY! I can't wait to share it with the world.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! 12 years since the first EVER Black Frog gig in Auckland, NZ at the legendary Kings Arms Tavern. I never thought I'd end up living overseas and managing bands from around the world 12 years ago! I wouldn't still be doing this if it wasn't for the amazing bands that keep me going and keep trusting me with their work and all the fans who support the bands and gigs we work on.

This thread is amazing! All of the love for everyone who loves heavy music! All of these reasons in the comments. I really struggled to find out where I fitted in, in life until I discovered the world of heavy metal, just as I was coming out the other side of years of Depression leading to a total mental breakdown I found where I belong. 14 years I've been involved in the Heavy Metal Community and I'm still as in love with it now as I was back then. Bands you hold the ultimate power when you are on stage to see this and step in. I love this thread, I love heavy metal 🤘

While I wasn't behind the merch desk I went live on the Conan fb page and it's been viewed almost 10k times!! It's an awesome way to reach your fans and make new ones, especially with the world how it is and not being able to travel. It's also cool to look back on for the band to see how epic this venue is!! I can't wait to go back and play it myself one day!

Oslo was absolutely amazing! Finally got to explore a foreign city in a foreign country after SO LONG spent in lockdowns in New Zealand and England.

It felt so good to be back out on the road this past weekend with . I had a great time meeting their Norwegian fans in the Merch tent and chatting to metal heads from all over Scandinavia. My first time in Oslo was amazing!

Thankyou for a cool weekend and a fun show. It was something special to play for you as cut scenes from our favourite sword and sorcery movies played out on that huge projector. FIRE🤯AND🤯ICE
