Today has seen the passing of a man whose musical genius and talents crossed the racial barriers in the US at a time when segregation was the norm. He produced music and film for seven decades that has touched, moved and brought joy to millions across many genres. As well as producing some of the most iconic and biggest hits. Quincy Jones we salute you a true Legend RIEP.

Only a couple of sleeps til the weekend, just about recovered from an amazing week in Carcassonne with some amazing people and music. I,ll be starting the weekend with our radio show, before visiting Windsor Fringe and the Black History month event at the Loading Bay. Saturday evening GRL are in Aylesbury,with our old mucker Jeff C at the Rockwood. Sunday is all about the Soul Stew, with Soul Stew Collective and the beautiful people who dance the day away for the Sunday social. ❤️❤️💃🏾🥿

Hope everyone has had a good week, only two more sleeps til the weekend!! This weekend we have the Saturday morning radio show, then all roads lead to Deja- View end of summer party, if you know you know. Also a reminder Windsor Fringe festival is now on check out the amazing offerings available, especially this Sunday Bandstand take over. The next Soul Stew is 6th October.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we are sadly going to have to postpone the Cymande event this weekend. We have always prided ourselves on bringing you the most exciting, interesting, memorable and value for money events we can. Our three previous offerings, Summer of Soul, Babylon and Wild Style certainly epitomised that, raised the bar and set the standards we want to offer you. After lots of deliberation re alternative options we both agreed it wouldn’t meet our own expectations of what we want to offer our customers.
