WATER THERAPY FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN is a program by the Rotary Clubs of Mont Kiara Gateway & Central Damansara in collaboration with Diveheart Malaysia and the support of the Rehabilitative Unit of Pusat Perubatan University Malaya (PPUM).

These special needs children will participate in an 8-week program using zero gravity, adaptive scuba and water therapy to build confidence, independence, and self-esteem and to assist them in pain management and physical movements allowing the children to gain more flexibility and better physical ability. The program helps them to reduce anxiety, improve focus and in the process learn how to work in a team and reduce any feelings of fear and isolation.

These Special Needs Children ( Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome and Amputees) are selected by a medical team from PPUM and are medically certified.
