Hey flower friends, Karen here! Wow, our shop is officially a whole year old! Can you believe it? We packed in a lot of beauty this first year in our sweet little shop. We laughed, we cried, we grew out of our comfort zones, we cried a little more (we’re looking at you Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day mayhem!), we failed at some things, but succeeded at a lot more!

I’m so proud of all that we accomplished this first year. I’m in awe at the volume of flowers that we’re able to produce from our sweet little space. And I’m just so appreciative of how our town shows up for us each day. THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart, for your continued support. Our customers are truly the best!

Let’s see what year 2 has in store for us 😉

📣 Hey Flower Friends! We wanted to give you an update about our shop plans for this summer. As you know, here at DFC, family always comes first. We value quality time and making memories whenever we possibly can because you know what….life is way too darn short. So keeping with that, we have decided to take a little summer break starting in mid-July to allow everyone here at DFC to spend time with the ones they love and take a much needed breather before we jump back head first into the crazy fall wedding season. We’re also taking this time to cook up some brand new ideas and fun new offerings that we can’t wait to share with you when we return! See below for details!

1️⃣ Our shop will be closed starting Monday, July 15 through Monday, August 12. We will open our doors back up on Tuesday, August 13 ready to hit the ground running!

2️⃣ Before and after our summer break, you can still catch us here at the shop Tuesdays - Fridays 11:00AM - 3:30PM. We’ll return to our normal shop hours once all the kiddos are back in school in September.

We hope you’re all having a wonderful start to your summer and are taking some time to relax and enjoy time with your loved ones…you deserve it 😉

Happy Mother's Day from Team DFC ♥️ It has been a long, tiring, and absolutely beautiful week sending flowers out into the world for you 💐

Mother's Day week is very special in our little flower shop for so many different reasons. We're a small team of mamas ourselves, and spreading the gift of beauty to all your mamas and mama figures is so fulfilling to us. We don't take lightly the level of emotions that surround this holiday and we mean it when we say THANK YOU for letting us be a small part of your celebration ♥️

Next, I'm surrounded each day by some of the most amazing mamas out there. I count myself lucky to have Jess, Kelly, and Lauren by my side helping to grow this flower dream of mine. They are BUSY moms that love their babies tremendously and I hope they always remember how much I admire and learn from them ♥️

Lastly, Mother's Day is truly where this little flower business of mine first started... that's right... DFC is turning 5 years old, y'all! A WHOLE HAND! Can you believe it? I'll share a more thoughtful post next week talking more about this milestone for sure!

But for now, kick up your feet mamas. Today is your day and we love you!

Happy International Women’s Day! I wanted to take this day to celebrate all the fierce ladies in the world, but most importantly these 3 beauties in this picture. Jess, Kelly, and Lauren are such important pieces to our DFC puzzle and my gratitude for them knows no bounds.

They are smart, funny, talented, kind and some of the best mamas I know. They continue to push me as a business owner to think outside the box and they help me dream big every day. I count myself very lucky to have a seat at the table with them.♥️
