If you are a long-term follower here, you see the pictures and the updates and are aware of the great work we do. But if you are new to us, here we are in a nutshell:

SPR is a GRASSROOTS, foster-based, boots-on-the-ground, 100% VOLUNTEER, registered non-profit that has rescued, transported, and rehomed nearly 17,000 cats and dogs since inception, from Alabama, Mississippi, and our home state of Massachusetts. These are broken, stray, and throwaway animals that had little chance of survival otherwise.

Our adoption fees do not come close to covering the very basic operating expenses and an annual veterinary bill that exceeds $250,000. These medical costs include all basic and essential veterinary care, spay/neuter, vaccinations, and sometimes lifesaving efforts and surgeries as well.

The Sweet Paws Rescue army works tirelessly each day to honor your gifts and ‘save people one dog at a time’. We thank you from the bottom of our paws.
