And just like that, this Boutique chapter has come to a close. These past few days have been the ultimate rollercoaster of emotions but being surrounded by so many phenomenal Brides collecting their girls (and looking like a tribe of goddesses in their chosen handmade outfits) has been the best tonic! So, as I sit here tonight and think about every individual that’s stepped through these doors, every belly laugh conversation, every tear we’ve shared, from my first Bride, Emma, to my final Bride, Mel… from each designer I’m proud to call friends before business partners thank you, truly, these have been the best years of my life. FACT! And if there is a legacy from the Boutique then I hope it’s encouraged everyone to vote with their money and support small businesses, and I don’t just mean within Bridal - I mean from coffee shops, florists, cafes - don’t let the big corporations win! Support who YOU believe in, and when it comes to weddings I hope you remember to do Bridal YOUR way! There are no rules, so don’t stick to any - represent you and your teammate! Always! And finally - never shy away from pursuing your dreams, make it happen, no one else will do it for you and trust me, you will NEVER regret it! And on that note… it’s time for me to turn the lights off one last time, wipe away these tears of joy & pride and head home to the most supportive hot-husband who had promised me a pastry & a comforting spiced chai before we pack those rucksacks for the Himalayas… nôs da Boutique world, I’ve loved you and the life you’ve helped me to create. Do you believe that there are certain times in our lives when the stars align & it seems that the universe is listening?… I do… truly I do…✨
• From the moment my neighbour told me my dream unit had come up for rent & she had arranged a meeting for me…👀
• From the moment I left with the keys in hand without a clue of how I go about establishing a business…🔑
• From the moment I sent ‘send’ email to to discover she had just got back from travelling and wanted to meet for a coffee… she officially became the first Boutique Designer… 🤍
• From the moment eight years later I popped a letter through the door of the family that owned the unit to ask if they would consider selling the unit to me not property developers…📮
• From the moment they said yes…🙏🏼
• To the moment when an email arrived in my inbox having heard my news to close this precious chapter…and asking a question…💌
• To saying yes to another female founded business to take over the premises that means so much to me … to a business who will continue to champion creativity, knowing these four walls will still be surrounded by all the love & giggles… ❤️
• To - I wish you all the love and success in the world, if it’s anything like what I’ve experienced you’re in for the best time of your life! 🙌🏼
Next week is my last week here & I’m feeling all the emotions right now, this is my little haven but I cannot tell you how happy it makes me knowing there’s a new chapter of bridal launching here in the new year! The ultimate modern boho dreams! 🌿🌸🤍 These two exchanged their vows surrounded by nature & partied hard outside (the ultimate sign of a good time is when the hem of your skirt is no longer the same colour as when you first put her on and leaves have made their way into the tulle!) Goodness me… what a 48hrs it’s been, I never have sample sales in the Boutique so I wasn’t sure if you would want them either- but holy moly every single appointment was booked within hours and it was SO MUCH FUN! Im so happy I’ve been able to help Brides find their perfect girls or their dreamy accessories! Thank you so much for all the giggles these past two days and thank you for embracing handmade, my feet are throbbing, im ready for a couple of days to relax with coffee & friends- but my soul is full of joy! TEN wholesome years of championing handmade…

TEN remarkable years of welcoming incredible brides through these doors…

TEN cherished years that I wouldn’t change for the world… BUT… as I always say to my Brides ‘if you have an itch, you have to scratch it’, and that’s exactly what I have to share with you today…

I’m sitting here with my morning cuppa writing this news to share with you and my heart is happy, my soul is grateful, yes my eyes maybe a little emotional but this comes from a place of celebration and pure joy! The Boutique is flying, she’s stronger & busier than ever, she’s a Boutique that I could see myself in forever… honestly… but the time has come for me to bow out gracefully and scratch that itch of running around the world. With a one way ticket to India booked in January, the hot husband & I have a new chapter on the horizon…

How amazing that the Boutique has made it to double figures, in a world of mass produced we stood up and fought against the grain! With no degree in business & no maths GCSE just a passion to re-write the Bridal scene in Wales (and beyond) - DOING BRIDAL OUR WAY!

I’m sure there’s lots of questions… and of course I will answer all of these in due course- but - for now, please join me in celebrating what we’ve achieved (together as a team), because honestly, the BEST thing about the Boutique has been the people I have got to meet. From Designers, Brides & like minded business owners who have now become friends- I’VE TRULY LOVED THIS BOUTIQUE WORLD & when I close those doors for the final time on December 3rd it will be with a heart full of love & respect for these precious four walls (though I’m sure those emotions will be running high too!).

Bridal separates… one of my favourite elements about them (aside from being super chic, very comfy and incredibly fashion forward) is that a Bride can totally rock them again after the wedding. Mix the top with a pair of jeans, favourite shoes and look EPIC again the day after the wedding! 🙌🏼There’s no reason not to get as much wear out of your amazing outfit as possible! Why leave them in the darkness of your wardrobe!? Take them out in the sunshine to glow with you! ☀️🤍✨

What an honour to introduce you to Boutique Bride- Ffion today! My queen of swishing-in-your-dress! 👑🤍✨
Ffion looked utterly sensational in our dotty ‘Lottie’ gown, paired with a forest green velvet sash, shoes to match and rocked a floral hoop instead of a bouquet! 🌼
