It's been a long time since I posted. Our family was blindsided March 22 when my 13 year old grandson had stroke type symptoms which uncovered a ping-pong ball sized brain tumor on his pituitary gland. Within 4 days of the discovery, he underwent surgery to remove it. It was so extensive that it wasn't completely removable. That lead to radiation at Mayo. Life has not been the same since. We have faith in God which carries us through. You may frequently hear me joke that without Jesus I have no grace at all, but all clumsiness set aside, we have truly seen HIS grace and mercy through this event! I have a great team that comes in and helps when I can't do it myself and to them, I THANK them greatly!! To all my customers who have prayed, sent love and donations, I also GREATLY appreciate you, and I cannot thank you enough! There was a fundraiser last week at the Eagle's Club in Crookston, put on by the Lions. It was wonderful to see many of the faces that I usually only talk to on the phone. Thank you 🤗😘 He's back at Mayo for follow up as the whirlwind of complications continues. Please keep him in your prayers!! Edit: Since I've been asked... Even a florist has to treat themselves!! I've been adoring Melissa's flower posts at Three Chicks Gardens! I FINALLY made it to the Detroit Lakes Farmer's Market last Saturday and got the LAST grab and go arrangement. Campanula are one of my F•A•V•O•R•I•T•E•S!! They were in the HOT 🔥 car for 3 hours, without water, while my family and I goofed around DL. I brought the sad, droopy flowers into the cabin and with a fresh cut, put them in plain water. Here they are, back home, a week later S•T•I•L•L GoRgEoUs 😍 Check out Melissa's beautiful locally grown beauties!! Don't be late!! When she's at the market - they go fast!!!
