Took a pro-tip away from this wedding that I will forever recommend to couples doing a first look: Have your planner play a special song on a portable speaker during your first look. Never have I seen a couple enter into their first look as intimately as Torie and Josh did. The music took away the pressure and surrounding sounds making this moment so incredibly special. I mean, just LOOK at those tears in Josh’s eyes…and he hadn’t even seen his Bride yet! 😭 So good. Swipe for a succession post.

Bengals are going to the super bowl and snow is on the way this week. Call me a happy girl with lots of time planned with a coffee in hand planning weddings 🙌🏻

We are all seeing smaller weddings due to the pandemic, but I’m also seeing so many more intimate sized bridal parties and I’m here for it. As a planner, I have a better chance to know and anticipate the needs of your best friends when there aren’t so many to keep track of 😂

Look closely and you’ll see the top few buttons look different than the others. The Bride had her Grandmother’s wedding dress buttons sewn on to her dress. No better “something old” than that in my books.

I call this one, “Things I do for you as your Wedding Planner on your wedding day that you don’t see: dry floating candles that were extinguished when someone accidentally hit them and re-light them before your guests enter.” And if you’ve ever tried to dry and re-light these things you know it is the wooooorst. But for you, my Brides and Grooms, I’ll do anything.

These two amazingly sweet and generous people celebrate their marriage later this week and I couldn’t be more excited for them. After getting married last year in the most intimate ceremony at home, they finally get to celebrate with all of their friends and family. Cheers to you, Emily and Stephen.
