Goodmorning ☀️ I had a new tattoo done just over a week ago on my right forearm to cover up the first 1 I got about 20 years ago, I never really liked it. I am pleased with this 1, it still needs the butterfly antanas done, we didn't realise till after she had cleaned it up lol and it did hurt because it was done on old scar tissue, so going back in 2 weeks. I have a week off now so starting a new Little mouse sculpture will share the pictures next week, how are you? It's going to be a hot day today, do glad I am not working lol wishing ypu beautiful and safe weekend 💙 X

Good morning ❤️ I have had this week ofwork, it was Archies 9th birthday Wednesday, I love this photo his mum took 🎈 we are looking forward to his party on Saturday afternoon 🎉. I have made a door wreath with white and red roses for England in the football Euros we have the flag up outside too. I am looking forward to watching the games, are you? Good morning and happy Friday 🌷 I entered the sculptures Healing abd Hope in the Nuneaton Festival of Arts they came first and second 😀 in the sculpture category and I was awarded the John Letts trophy 🏆 I have not made anything since these, but starting a neddlefelt mouse soon, how about you? Goodmorning ⚘️ she is finished I called her "Healing" made from metal wire, plaster strips and pva glue. There are alot of words from your suggests thank you for your help, I have made another 1 with the rest of the words on. I entered them into the Nuneaton Festival of Arts they have been on display at the exhibition, it was not at the museum this year because of work being done, so it was at King Edward VI college in the Ropewalk, Nuneaton. Goodmorning and happy International Womens Day 🪻I have entered an event for Global England Mural Mosaic's Global Roots Project ,everyone who has joined it, paints a personal design on a tile that all measure the same, 6in by 6in. We were all alocated a colour mine was blue. Everyone's tile will then be added together to create one large painting. It's just been announced that England's Mural Mosaic will be in Feltham, England. The
Unveiling will be April 15th, 2024. I am looking forward to seeing it in the moral, and to travel there for the day and meet the other artists who have taken part. I have not done anythink like this before have you? I am getting one for the UK now, let me know if any of you do too 😊 Wishing you a beautiful weekend 💙 Ruth X

Goodmorning 🌷 the needle fox is finished, he measures 10cm high by 20 cm across, I think he is cute! not bad for a first attempt. There is another pic in my comments, I am going to make a mouse next. Its my weekend off work, so was hoping to go to visit a national trust house with snowdrop displays but it's not stopped raining for the last few days, so it might be water logged or flooded, quite a few places in Warwickshire are flooding 😔 how is it by you? Goodmorning ❤️ this is a door wreath I made last year, Did any of you celebrate valentines day? I was working, hubby brought me a lovely white and red rose plant. Thank you for all your comments on my last post and the healing words. It really helped. She is finished now and I have added quite a few of the words 😊 I will take photos of her. Good morning and happy Friday ❤️💚 I had such a wonderful surprise at Christmas when a little parcel arrived from Delabud Creations from Cork City in Ireland, with the tiny and magical green fairy, I already had the beautiful blue one. Thank you so much Del 💙 they sit together now on my display unit in the living room, I can just imagine after having a catch up, they chatter all day about allsorts and put the world to rights, they have become the best of friends now, I just love them so much. Did you get any unexpected and wonderful surprises? How is the weather for you? Its freezing here and the car broke down yesterday, I was stuck at college till 8.30 at night till RAC came out, they were really busy! it had to be towed away, waiting now for the news of the cost of repairing! They think it's the petrol pump. Ruth X

Good morning 🪻 happy Friday and 2024 ❤️ this is a little wooden house I painted and found and glued christmas asscessories for a work colleague, we work on the Elizabeth Ward at George Eliot Hospital. I have put the before picture in my comments. I should have taken a photo of it light up, sorry. What did you do for NYE? Good morning ❤️ this is a new fairy called "English Winter Rose" I used the felting wool technique a robin and red and white roses with ivy to represent England. Thank you for all your support, love, comments and shares over the year ⚘️ it means the world to me, I am working at the hospital christmas day 7.30-3.30 so the family will wait for me and we will have our christmas dinner later, which is nice of them. Good morning and happy Friday 🎄two of the fresh flower arrangements I made last week, I got the foliage from a conifer in my garden, it smelt lovely when I was making them the garden. I still have a few christmas things to finish decorating the house. It can be a bit stressful, it plays on my mind till I have done it all, silly really I still enjoy doing it do you? Goodmorning and happy Thanksgiving to my American friends ❤️ I brought a plain birdhouse from a craft shop and then converted it into a personal Christmas one. I made this for a work colleague who will spend her first christmas in her new home. I used oxo cubes for the presents, wrapped them and made little gift tags with the couples names on. I forgot to take a before pic, I did remember a half way one lol I will put it in my comments. Have you been working on any Xmas projects? Wishing you a peaceful weekend ❤️ Ruth X

Good morning and happy November 🧡🍁 we had a lovely Halloween, we went pumpkin picking Poplars Farm Shop I loved Archies pumpkin he found and then carved with the help of his dad, I picked and made 3 pumpkins with flowers for myself and 2 neighours and then went to an Halloween event with family at Heart of England Conference and Events Centre was so funny! Good morning 🌻 Tommy James Photography the photographer from my daughters wedding has released this photo 💕 it's beautiful! My daughter looked stunning and he has captured how much they love each other ❤️ he has won a Bronze Award - Guild of Photographers, for it 🥂 Well done Tommy, I am looking forward to seeing and sharing the rest now. I am excited to start a new sculpture, it will be a female figure relaxing and reading a book, similar theme to my last one called " knitting a new me" not sure what to call her, will see when she is made and what you think? Good morning and happy September 💛 I finally got time to make this sunflower door wreath, sorry I have not posted for awhile, been busy with working and my daughters wedding. Good morning and Happy Friday 🌻 I have had a new tattoo on my forearm, a watercolour elephant image I found on a tattoo site and then I added the breast cancer ribbon with the word hope coming from the trunk. It was the tattoo artist idea to make the ribbon less visible, which I really liked. I had the word hope put on because I pray and hope the cancer never comes back, if I get to 5 years without it returning there is a good chance it never will, I am in my 3rd year now 🩷 the schools break up this weekend for the 6 weeks summer holidays, we have our daughters wedding in August to look forward to, do you have any plans for the holidays? Goodmorning ☀️ it has been an honour to volunteer for the amazing sculpture 'Knife Angel' while it was in Nuneaton, it is leaving this morning to its next destination, Lichfield, it has been here for 4 weeks. Last night I was a guest along with the other volunteers and everyone involved getting it here. It was very emotional while Mr Milise Spoken Word was reading his poem with the beautiful music in the background, his words were so moving! and Artist NathenParker https://www.facebook.com/nathan.parker.n4t4 creating a stunning piece in an hour! Goodmorning 💕 thank you to everyone who liked and shown love and commented on my last post 💙 here are some pics of the Elephants, called "my family" it represents me, my daughter Siobhon and grandson Archie. The exhibition is finished now, I went to collect them on Tuesday, I get to keep the trophies for a year. Hope your all OK? I still have my cold going to the docs today to get some antibiotics. Good morning ⚘️ so happy to share with you my latest sculpture called " knitting a new me" inspired by my close friend Stef. I entered her into the Nuneaton festival of Arts and she came first in the sculpture and craft section, I received a certificate and a glass trophy. I also entered a sculpture of 3 elephants called "my family" representing myself my daughter and grandson they came second! And I also won best overall of the categories for "knitting a new me" and received a glass vase. The trophies are beautiful and I get to keep them for a year. They are displayed along with other entries at the Nuneaton Art Gallery. I was rushing to enter them in time and didn't get a good pic of the elephants, I am going to see them on display so will take some then and share them here with you. I have caught a cold, have a few days of now to hopefully get better, Wishing you a lovely weekend 💙 Ruth X

Goodmorning and happy month of June 🌻 I made some doves for myself and Archie and Siobhon from white card for a art display created by Sioux from the The Guardians Grow Charity (The Makery) www.theguardiansgrowcharity.com I followed their youtube video on how to make them. We wrote some personal and inspirational words on them. The beautiful piece of Art is situated in Abbey Gate in Nuneaton Town centre, if you wanted to go and see it or make some paper Doves your self to go in the display, if you take them to the makery they will add them for you. Goodmorning and happy Monday 💕 this is the Elephant Diamond painting me and my grandson Archie did together, all finished and framed now. It took a few months because after 1 or 2 colours Archie got bored lol how have you been? Have you got any Creations you woukd like to share? I am on Annual Leave from work this week yay 😊 will finish the wool and wire figure this week and start a new piece. Feeling excited! I have not felt excited about my art for months, so that's good. Good morning ☔️ how are you? horrible weather here in Nuneaton today, very windy and rainy. The sun did come out for a bit Wednesday so managed to do this video to show how the garden is coming along. We have planted alpine plants and hopefully they will start flowering soon. Would be good to get some big rocks and I would like some white gravel stones for the outside, when we can afford it. I hope you have a peaceful weekend ❤️ Ruth X
