🚨 Why I Won’t Be Buying from Bose Again! 🚨

I wanted to buy directly from Bose, thinking I’d get the best service and a smooth experience… How wrong I was!

- The price changed in the basket compared to what was advertised.
- I still went ahead and placed the order, received a confirmation email and expected delivery details soon after.
- Days later, I chased them for an update, only to be told the payment didn’t go through (despite the confirmation email)! 🤯
- To make things worse, they couldn’t process the payment again, meaning I had to start all over.

So, I went to Amazon.co.uk, bought the exact same product, got next-day delivery and paid less than Bose’s own website!

Moral of the story: Avoid the hassle and overpriced products—just buy elsewhere! 💸⏳

Ever wondered what goes into a typical gig for a mobile DJ? It’s not just turning up and pressing play – there’s a LOT of planning and preparation behind the scenes! Here’s a little insight into what a night on the decks really involves:

📞 Pre-Event Call/Meeting – Before the big night, we chat with the client to discuss the playlist, special moments (like first dances or key announcements) and any must-play or do-not-play tracks. This ensures everything runs smoothly on the day.

🚚 Setup & Soundcheck – Arriving at the venue well in advance (typically 1.5 hours before the start time) to unload and set up the sound system, lighting, and any special effects. Getting the perfect setup is key to creating an amazing atmosphere!

📋 Final Checks with the Client/Venue – A quick check-in with the organiser or couple to confirm timings and key moments before the night kicks off.

🎵 Reading the Room & Keeping the Energy Up – Every crowd is different, so we adjust the music on the fly to keep the dance floor packed! From singalong anthems to dancefloor hits, it’s all about keeping the party alive.

📸 Interacting & Taking Requests – Engaging with guests, taking requests (when appropriate), and making sure the music flows seamlessly throughout the night.

What a great night DJ-ing at Hazlewood Castle in the woodland venue. The dancefloor area is outside, hence the jacket, as it was only 6 ° . The bride & groom and all the guests had a great night despite the cold weather.
