Wrapped up our first🥂🍣 event, pairing Cassegrain Wines’ expertly selected wines with our sushi train experience, hosted at the beautiful The Work Project venue.

The Cassegrain team offered insights into the wine selection, explaining how each wine was chosen to perfectly complement our sushi menu! The combination of fine wines and fresh sushi brought a new level of flavour exploration. Judging by the smiles and the empty plates, we think our audience agrees!

🎉 Big thanks to The Work Project at Quay Quarter Tower for having us at your 2nd-anniversary celebration yesterday! 🎉

We had a wonderful time collaborating with the TWP team in such an amazing coworking space. Setting up our sushi train with the stunning views of the Harbour Bridge in the background was definitely a highlight.

The warm welcome from their members made the day even better! Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon, whether at a networking night, product launch, or corporate gathering. 🍣

🎉 Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to be a part of Horgans 40th birthday celebration and their sophisticated brand relaunch! 🌟

Horgans is known for their exquisite and unique furniture pieces that blend sophisticated style, comfort, and functionality. Their showroom is a true testament to their dedication to quality and design.

The event was nothing short of amazing. We shared the beautiful showroom floor with a talented chocolatier and a lively dance floor, creating an atmosphere filled with elegance and fun. The Horgans team was absolutely wonderful to work with!

🌍 Celebrating Harmony Day with a Throwback! November last year, UNSW College put on an impressive display, welcoming their agent partners from across the globe for a tour of their modern and well-equipped facilities. To ensure a warm welcome, the college went above and beyond, inviting caterers from diverse backgrounds.

Big Fish Sushi Catering was fortunate to be part of this gathering, representing Japanese cuisine. We found ourselves in the esteemed company of amazing caterers showcasing Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, and Italian cuisine. It was a privilege for us to work alongside such diverse culinary talents, creating a unique global dining experience right on campus.

This wonderful array of international flavours showcased during the event epitomises the essence of Harmony Day - inclusivity, respect, and celebrating the valuable contributions of all cultures. It's a powerful reminder that, through food, we can bridge cultures and build connections, celebrating our diversity in the most delicious ways. We love putting together menus that fit exactly what you like, starting with appetisers and finishing with sweets. For a recent event, we served up a trio of Japanese starters, a variety of fresh sashimi, crispy tempura, tender wagyu cutlets, an assortment of sushi, and Japanese-style desserts to close out the evening.

Today, we share just one image, but behind it lies a story far more profound than words and pictures can convey. It's a story that reaffirms why we, at Big Fish Sushi Catering are so passionate about what we do.

We had the honour of being part of a celebration that was not just a birthday party but a festival of life itself. As we marked the joyous 60th birthday of a remarkable mother, we also celebrated her incredible victory over a rare illness. After two long years without her favourite sushi due to dietary restrictions, she could finally indulge once again in the taste she loves.

This gathering was also a heartfelt reunion, a time to acknowledge the friends and family whose support shone like beacons through her recovery journey. Instead of presents, this gracious lady requested donations to charity – an act that speaks volumes of her generous spirit.

We're beyond moved to have been chosen to cater for such an occasion. To see the happiness and love shared last night reminds us why our work is more than just a service; it's about being part of life's most cherished moments.

Thank you to this wonderful family for allowing us to contribute to a day filled with gratitude, celebration, and the rekindling of flavours long missed.

For the first time ever, our sushi train was set up right next to...wait for it...a jumping castle for a 6th birthday celebration! 🎉

Kids naturally gravitated towards the juicy Karaage (fried chicken), while parents wrapped their hands around some delicious Eby-fry Temaki (Fried prawn hand roll).

We also came across Denis's Creativity Project Sydney mobile cocktail bar which was also in action at the same event. Anyone in search of drinks for their gatherings might want to check him out! 🍹

Absolutely thrilled to bring our sushi catering services to a somewhat unique clientele this time around…. 🧒🏻👦🏼3 to 6-year-olds at the incredible Academy For Early Learners!

The premium preschool and childcare is all about helping young learners to reach their full potential through quality education and a holistic curriculum! Seeing the joy on the children's faces as they both rolled their own sushi and savoured each bite was truly heartwarming. It reminded us how important interactive experiences are in learning, something that this academy appears to prioritise in its holistic approach.

We've seen firsthand the type of exploratory and problem-solving opportunities this institution offers its students—from vegetable gardens to music classes. The atmosphere is truly inspiring, and we are thankful to have been a part of it.
