Well my first big girl job is complete! Because it’s not over until the last balloon is popped.
I cannot thank the at Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum enough for all their help cleaning up! I think they had a little fun in the process. ( check out my story)
I am just reflecting on the past few months then I had to take a step farther and look at this business as a whole. I have been planning parties for 6 years now. People ask how you get into balloons. I can honestly say I don’t love balloons (please don’t tell anyone lol). But I once planned whole parties, from tablescapes, to party favors, centerpieces, the works. When balloons became popular it was either pay someone most of my budget for garlands, or learn myself. My parents so lovingly gave me the, “how hard could it be” gene. So I watched videos, I follow amazing artists on all platforms. When you see their work, I don’t think I will ever call myself a professional. I don’t know what makes a professional a professional, but I don’t feel qualified enough. My style has changed in those 6 years. So has my technique. I learn something new all the time! It keeps me on my toes and I love a good puzzle to complete. Balloons fulfill all those needs!
I really appreciate that this side hustle/ hobby really feeds my creative soul. What I appreciate even more is all of you. The past couple of post have just been overwhelming love and support. The encouraging words mean so much to me. I wouldn’t get to have this much fun without you all! I am so incredibly blessed and humbled.

This wraps up my Christmas installs for 2024🎉. My first ever gingerbread house. Of course it is at the one and only Life.Church Amarillo.
You can see it in real life and catch one of their many services! To end every service they will be singing silent night by candle light!

Little late night funny! In all honesty I do not take it personal, anymore, a budget is a budget and I get that! I had to learn not to let it bother me. Usually it’s ghosted after they hear the quote, or they come back with let me think about it! That’s ok too! But it is ok to say, I can’t afford that right now. I always try to give options for different budgets!

So nice we used it twice! ✌🏼
The second tree is brand new today! But we brought over the backdrop set from our store to Zoees school!
I hate popping balloons when they are just a day old! This is the best way to keep using balloons!

Here they are! All 87 feet of balloons! This is if you lay them all in a straight line.
The first one, we so graciously called big daddy, is 32 feet in total. I have never done an arch that big before!
I prepped as much as I could before hand and this install was still 6 hours long.
I am so incredibly thankful for the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum choosing me to make their Christmas open house magical!
I am humbled each time someone chooses me to help them decorate for something. I can’t thank you all enough for the support

Big reveal in the morning! It’s always exhausting but it always gives me life to do the creative stuff! To do big things that I wouldn’t ever think someone would pick little ol me for.

I couldn’t have got it done without this one! Randy Tonche' really does believe in me more than I believe in myself. He does all the heavy lifting and handing me all the things! I am not one for words of affirmation, but sometimes I do need them and today he did just that. I always get anxious and scared if the client will like it, if I am doing the best I absolutely can. Today he was my reassurance as I navigated those feelings. That’s all you can really ask for!

I do have to mention my bestie and hardware store husband Jeanne Jonas! She helped me build the massive arches you are about to see tomorrow! And bullied the Lowe’s workers to help me! Get you one of those friends who will stick up for you! (Not pictured because we never take pics together)

Hey everyone!!
As you all know my husband and I own Complete Health - Amarillo, TX. We started getting angels a few years ago. The first year we asked for 15.
Our hearts really go out to all of these children. This year we asked for 50 names!!!!
We are praying that they can all be adopted!!
We know we have an amazing community of people behind us helping every step of the way!
If you can’t make it in, we can help you pick one and send you a picture of the tag!

It’s that time of the year, our ANGEL TREE is back!!

Last year there were alot of family’s left out so this year, me and Lacee doubled up on the amount of Angels we have this year and have 50 family’s that need adopted!!

That’s right, 50 Angels need adopted!!!

If you are able to support a family, please stop by and pick an angel off our tree.

All angels need to be returned by December 10th!!!! On the tag it says by December 13th but last year we had a few people that dropped off their angels late so this will allow us to get all the angels turned in on time!
