We’re still gushing over Lexy and Ryan’s DREAMY wedding at The Estate at River Run
If you haven’t been to River Run, this venue is an enchanting, sprawling estate complete with a palatial pool, pool house, tennis courts, and breathtaking view of the James River. The ballrooms mirror a scene out of Bridgerton, and the grounds are immaculate. We loved Lexy’s color palette of timeless white blooms and romantic greenery. Christian created the fireplace mantle installation and amazing arrangement for the front ballroom. Lisa worked tirelessly to bring Lexy’s vision for the ceremony and reception to life – it all came together so beautifully.

Krista and Blake’s colorful summer wedding at the John Marshall was a show stopper 🌟 Krista envisioned delicate, cheery blooms of all colors in her wedding florals, and we loved weaving pops of color throughout the arrangements and installation pieces. Aren’t the bridesmaids’ dresses amazing?! Enjoy some of our favorite pics from their day!

A decade of Over the Top Flower Shop! Our business is TEN! 🥳
It’s hard to wrap our minds around all that we’ve had the joy of creating since we started our business in 2014. After being inspired by my own wedding in 2013, and with the nudge and encouragement from sweet friends, we took a leap of faith to start Over the Top Flower Shop (a working website and company credit card make you legit, right??) It’s been a total roller coaster filled with late nights, eye candy florals, unforgettable relationships, endless inspiration, wedding day magic, and time together as a family. Our hearts are overwhelmingly full as we celebrate this milestone (go us, mom!!) and look forward to what’s ahead. Keeping it real - we totally FORGOT the date we registered our business, but when realized the anniversary fell on the week of our family vacation, he orchestrated a surprise celebration - we are blessed!
To the couples and families we’ve been honored to serve, please accept our sincerest gratitude for helping make this little dream of ours a reality. It’s been so fun! Lastly, a special shoutout to for being the best best BEST friend and teammate. Over the Top wouldn’t be here without you! 💗

Shouting happy first anniversary from the rooftops to my cousin, Courtney and her husband, Ryan! It was such a joy to attend their beautiful wedding in Warren, New Jersey last fall, and mom had the honor of creating Courtney’s bouquet for the big day. Our poor little website and instagram roll have been woefully neglected, but for good reason! Life has been incredibly full the past few weeks with a new baby girl for Katie and a full fall wedding schedule for Lisa 💕

What a year! 2021 was crazy for so many reasons - covid reschedules, national flower shortages, scarce supplies, and extreme weather (affecting flowers and local growers). Despite the uncertainty, there was a lot to celebrate. We had a front row seat to 32 (!!!!) darling couples committing their lives to one another, including our own, Christian and Paxton! We hosted two workshops, multiple showers, AND Lisa welcomed two grandbabies this year! We feel so incredibly blessed by the love and support from our clients, as well as the community who has supported our small business. Thank you! Over the Top Flower Shop wouldn’t be here without you. Another special shout out to Jennifer, Greg, Christian, and the countless others who have offered their time and talents to us.
