Our Story

Honeybee Arts creates a space for freedom and focus by using art as a tool to empower both experienced and inexperienced artists. Our services enable people to either become the canvas through face and body art, or become the artist and create masterpieces through fun and interactive Mobile Art Parties.

Becoming The Canvas Lead Artist and Founder, Avilda Whittmore, has transformed people of all ages, from 3 years old to seniors, into vivid works of art for over 8 years by using a combination of formal and self-taught training in the Visual Arts. She has used her gifts at numerous birthday parties for children, and has received a mention in People Magazine for her contribution to body positivity for breast cancer survivors in NYC, through body painting.

Becoming The Artist Avilda has created several opportunities for youth and adults to develop their creativity and artistic skills through Mobile Art Parties and Mobile Craft Parties. From glow in the dark painting for kids, to home decor craft workshops for seniors, budding artists of all ages have benefited from these fun and immersive activities.

Individuals who are highly creative are more likely to excel, even beyond the arts. This is because creativity allows us to bring our thoughts, emotions, and ideas to the physical world, and to use them strategically to solve problems and improve the quality of life for ourselves and for others.
