Mo and Loys Wedding
This wedding was the largest that Steel City Florals has ever done. 2x the size of our “big” weddings.
When @yinzgettingmarried reached out to me about this one I was very unsure of being able to take on this scale of design. But the fact that Meg & Amy believed that we could do it, made me want to prove them right. I also wanted to prove to myself that this was something I was capable of.
Months went into planning, phone calls, picking color palette, linens, glassware, florals, figuring out logistics, hiring enough team to execute it, and me and @joyfulamy20 constantly texting each other🤣
The week of the event was lots of designing, long hours and very HOT days. The actually set up of the event could not have gone better (besides getting stung by a wasp).Everything turned out so beautiful & we got to work with the most stellar team of vendors.
So now for all the thank you’s and acknowledgments, the most important part, because it would not have been possible without the help of so many different people. I’m truly blessed to have such incredibly helpful/talented people surrounding me. First off, my team of designers and helpers @dee_florals @emmaharrisfloral @hollyhannafloral @kaitlinwatson @confleurtti @alleycatflowers @shadez_onn @thegrimmbotanist
@earthofferingsgcai
The team @bwwholesaleflorist for letting us use your space and always just being so kind to me. Shouting out especially @plantgirlpgh for being literally the greatest sales rep & carnation stringer to ever exist.
@supercutcreative for coming on site the day of, working your magic and producing THIS MASTERPIECE. SHE MADE THIS VIDEO. Like wow. I’m blow away by Hannah’s skills and hiring her to film BTS for the day was the best choice I made.
@wearetherichards for the BTS shots/ just the wonderful company while setting up.
