Just engaged + wondering where to begin? Here’s how we like to kick off the planning process:
1. Create your guest list 2. Determine your budget (this may involve in depth convos with your families - you got this!). *might need to reevaluate your guest list after this too! 3. Choose your ideal season (be flexible and try not to get your heart set on a specific date. It’ll make finding an available venue more challenging). 4. Book your venue (tour your top 3-5 favorites and hopefully pick one from there). But first champagne 🥂 We’re always just an email away!

Extra time is ALWAYS recommended! We typically add a buffer for getting ready, transportation, photos and speeches automatically just in case 😃 While we aim to follow the timeline as much as possible sometimes you just have to go with the flow and catch up when you can.

It’s the weekend, which probably means your going to be doing some wedding planning. We strongly encourage the “rule of 3”…narrow it down to your top 3 when researching vendors/venues. Ideally you’ll meet with 2 (but we’ll allow 3 as there’s some great vendors out there) and move forward with one of them! Cheers to checking tasks off the to do list 🥂 Bonus tip: use this in every day life too — adulting is hard 😅

It's been way too long since I popped in to say Hi! I'm Lauren, the owner of Something Blu. We've been so BUSY - planning weddings for this year and booking new clients for 2022/2023 (woo hoo!!) but I promise we'll share all of the fun things we've been up to very soon.
