Many couples struggle to understand the wedding process in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Denmark and most of the time are completely unaware of what documents they need in order to start a wedding application and end up losing a lot of time, sometimes many months, in the process. It took us months to understand the steps and organise our own wedding, so in November 2016 we started helping other co
uples with their process, and some of the couples suggested to us to open a consultancy to guide other couples through their wedding process. MWeds is registered under the CRO (Company Registration Office) and trading in Ireland since then, offering wedding services in Denmark and some types of visa applications in Ireland. The estimate is that we already helped over 1,500 couples around the globe with their wedding process and visa applications. Our service is provided 100% remotely via email. We can organise a call via Zoom platform as well and by appointment only. Use our page on Facebook to book your slot for a call.
We received information from HCCI (Home & Community Care Ireland) that an additional 5๏ธโฃ0๏ธโฃ0๏ธโฃ quotas for home care workers have been approved.
But it is not in place yet, so this needs to be officially announced to be valid which will be in the next few weeks.

Care Workers & Home Carers: The quota of 1,000 has now been closed since 30th July 2024. ๐ซ๐
Applications not yet processed or new applications received will be rejected until the next quota opens. โโณ

22/05/2023: Completed e-vetting process
21/08/2023: Submitted Garda vetting
27/08/2023: Garda vetting disclosed & viewed
05/10/2023: Received approval letter & paid ceremony fee
20/11/2023: Invited to ceremony on 18/12
18/12/2023: Attended ceremony at 3pm
16/02/2024: Received citizenship certificate
05/03/2024: Applied for Irish passport

On 15th May 2024, Ministers Helen McEntee and Peter Burke confirmed the implementation of the system. This unified procedure combines the work permit and immigration permission into one streamlined process! ๐
At the moment, applicants have to apply to the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment for a work permit, and then go to the Department of Justice to apply for a visa.
Here's what the Single Permit means for you:

On November 15, 2023, Immigration Delivery Service (ISD) ๐ placed a notice stating that it would no longer accept applications for Stamp 4 support letters.
ISD has been reviewing who can get a Stamp 4 upgrade since the application process changed. Now, they've finished the review, and here's the new eligibility rule.
Stamp 1 or 1H visa holders are eligible for a Stamp 4 upgrade in two situations - check the cards to get more info โน๏ธ

As the Irish Government announced that there are no plans to extend the visas further than 31/05, the authorities also said that: ๐ขThose who have already applied to renew their registration and are waiting for it to be processed, are still legally permitted to remain in the State after 31/05 as long as they provide proof that they have applied for online renewal and are waiting for it to be issued. โก๏ธProspective employees intending to take up employment under these arrangements should print the notice from the immigration website and present it if requested by their employer. โ ๏ธNote that ISD is experiencing a very large volume of applications the current processing time to renew a permission is 10 weeks.
