Here's another look at the beautiful aisle meadow earlier this month at Nature's Connection.

Taking a couple weekends off to spend time with our family, including a road trip to Yellowstone. You only get 18 summers ❤️

Also making plans to meet and talk with late summer and fall clients to finalize floral order decisions and make sure all the details are in place. It's going by so fast already! I can't wait to share all of the upcoming wedding florals with you.

Boutonnieres are still kinda a big deal around here. Classic boutonnieres as simple, or bold as you'd like and if you like a pocket square style, we can do that too. Boutonnieres give a little nod to the bouquet as a coordinating detail and they look great in photos. We use spin clasp brooch pins wrapped into the boutonniere so there's no loose pins to worry about and the boutonniere stays in place all day and evening long.

Two weddings this weekend, one at Stilly Brook Farms in Arlington and one at Machias Meadows. Three more weddings before we wrap up the '23 wedding season. I'll miss my check-in emails and calls with all of the wonderful brides, couples, moms and wedding planners. It's been a busy, yet fun summer.

So much joy in this photo 🤍 White flowers with lots of different foliage and texture are so beautiful as well as the bride.

In a florist's world working with white and cream flowers is sometimes a challenge. You have to source the right shades to compliment the overall design and vision. Depending on the variety, white roses can have a hint of pink, peach, or yellow. These color variations can help add just a little contrast and dimension, but sometimes you need a pure white and that's harder to come by. Many times I've searched high and low for the perfect shade, but it's always worth it.

A few of my favorite white/cream flowers for weddings are... Playa Blanca Roses, Tibet Roses, White Cloud garden rose, lissianthus, dahlias, tweedia, freesia, orchids, scabiosa, sweet peas, and cosmos. I'm always up for helping brides and couples find the perfect flowers and colors to compliment their style, venue and design choices.

A beautiful wedding at Craven Farms yesterday. The peach, champagne, cream, and white flowers were so elegant and classic. The rain subsided just in time and left everything looking sparkling new. Congratulations to a wonderful couple, Melissa &Thomas.
