Flowers & Art

Flowers & Art is an initiative I had after family and friends pointed out how good my skills were when it come to making artsy and crafty things.

I love flowers! I always loved them since I remember. I grew up in a house full of flowers and my mother always kept our garden very beautiful and well kept. When we where kids, people comented all the times on how our garden looked like heaven. Every Sunday the nuns (sisters) that passed by on their way to church had to make a stop to pick flower for the altar. My friends even asked if we washed our plants with oil; they always looked so bright and the leaves were very glossy. No, we only watered them and used natural composts. No chemicals.

You may be asking how does this translate into making paper flowers and art. It is just something I like doing. I love flowers and I love art; I make paper flowers and art. I do it for fun I do it to pass time and relax and I also do it to decorate spaces in my house.

It also runs in the family. Most people in my family have a thing for art. They always know how to do something related to arts and crafts. My mother is very creative. I remember her making flowers and wall decor when I was a kid. She is a designer for cloth and a seamstress and, as a hobby, she makes the most elegant outfits you cannot find in any store. My siblings are all gifted and my gradma had fairy hands. So, I could not be left behind.
