WDD$ X VELO VENTURES Present:
CREATIVE CALL

Artists and other creatives (Artisans, collectively) make the world go round, but the struggles artisans face to get a foothold in the world is challenging and dampens creativity.

The biggest obstacle for artisans is finding a way to fund their craft while maintaining an lifestyle/career. Since societal views on creating art is not seen as a viable way to make a living, said struggles could last an artisan's entire lifetime.

WDD$ and Velo Ventures have come together in an attempt to form an approachable solution for, as well as unlock the entrepreneurial potential of artists and creatives.

We are reaching out to all creatives, regardless of discipline (singers, dancers, actors, rappers, DJs, filmmakers, playwrights, authors, culinary creatives, photographers, sculptors, jewelry makers, toy makers, craft beverage makers, candy makers, poets, and all other creatives not mentioned here), to fill out our survey.

Our survey is the first step in opening up the possibilities that can lead to solidifying your artistic career and including you in a community of like-minded individuals, creating a vast network of artisans.

The completed CREATIVE CALL Survey will aide us in matching dedicated artists and crafters with money available through grants that many do not know about and lead to a showcasing opportunity for you to share your best work with the public!

We will also provide other showcasing opportunities, mentorship and information to those who join our network by completing the survey.

There is no cost to fill out the survey but the time it takes to complete it.

We have updated and and fixed problems that were present in our previous survey, so even if you filled out this survey before, please do so again. This survey will be the one on record.

Some survey pointers:

When responding to the part of the survey that asks you how much money you need and how you plan to use the money to further your craft, be as detailed as possible! Account for every dollar that you say you need. Doing so shows that you thought out your plan thoroughly and are prepared to take your next step.

Thursdays debut of my new event, "AGAIN", a Classic, ALL VINYL retrospect of music we used to groove to not so long ago, was everything!!!

For this one, it was the music of and (THE NEPTUNES)! Spinning a 4 hour set of these super producers and having the whole room vibe out with you is a rare experience and one I will never forget!

Big thanks to Victor and the staff at .bar for the opportunity and support! (Your venue is it! The vibe and sound is top notch!) I hope to return and drop another edition of "AGAIN" in the near future.

GOOD PEOPLE!!!!!!

I make my debut at N° Between Cocktail Lounge in Chelsea Market on Thursday, December 5th. 7pm-11pm!

I'm bringing my new retro concept to this space! "AGAIN" is a Classic, ALL VINYL retrospect of music we used to groove to not so long ago!

My first retrospective will feature the music of THE NEPTUNE! I'm sure many of you remember how and kept the Dancefloors hot! We will revisit some well known tunes and also take a listen to some that were barely heard, but knocked anyway! They worked with everybody, so the variety will be a who's who of Dope artists of the era of the Neptune Sound!

N° Between specializes in Japanese Whiskeys and small snacks to accompany them! Come through, post up with some friends and let's take it back!
