Last week we travelled down to London for the intimate wedding ceremony of Jess & Archu at Chelsea Town Hall and then onto for their wedding reception.

We had a lot of fun walking the grand marble halls of the Mandarin Oriental capturing these two in their first moments as husband and wife 🤍

We’re coming into spring, although it doesn’t feel like it with this weather recently, but we are. Trees are starting to blossom and bulbs are beginning to bloom.

This time of year always feels like the time to prepare for the season ahead. We have been stockpiling film and purchasing new equipment so that we continue to be ahead of the curve for all of our upcoming weddings.

And trust us, we will have some incredible events to share this year ✨

Soft skin tones, true and rich colours, sharp details, and elegant bokeh.

Film photography has always plucked at our heart strings… the beauty it can create is profound, but the process is mesmerising.

Everything is mechanical, the clicks and clacks of tiny gears moving to open the shutter and capture the photons before it onto light sensitive celluloid.

From the very first time my grandfather gave his little film camera I was obsessed. Hooked, I was hooked into a world I did not know then would become my life.

That little Olympus still comes to weddings with us, 50 years since its creation it is still capturing light, moments, emotion.

Timeless.

Hi everyone! 👋

We just wanted to say a quick hi and thank you to all the new followers that we have received over the New Year period!

We have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your enquires and learning about your weddings!

A little about us..
We are Harry and Annie, and we run Stories From Eros. In September of 2023 we got married after being together for 11 years since finishing school 🤍

We live together in Nottinghamshire Countryside with our big black chow chow, Paddy 🐾

Our focus has always been to create timeless and true photography and films that you will be able to pass on to generations to come as heirlooms.

We are heavily influenced by the impressionist art like that of Monet and the romanticism of Turner. We try to gel this love of art with contemporary photography which is why we rely so heavily on our medium format film cameras during a wedding 🎞️

As a married couple we understand the importance of creating beautiful images, but equal to that is also the importance of spending your wedding day with your loved ones and allowing you time to enjoy the day that unravels before you.

Our ethos will always be the same. We want to create timeless and authentic imagery, and emotive and cinematic films….

And with our years of experience we can do this for you… if you are willing.

Our photography has always been inspired by art and fashion photography of times past. We often ask ourselves, what makes that picture timeless? And then we try and apply this to our own work.

One of the key aspects we hear from our clients is that they want to be able to look at their photographs in 20 years and still think “wow, look at me!”.

Creating timeless photographs and elegant films will always be our key focus. These are what we strive to achieve with every client.

What a year it has been! We have been all over the country and Europe for so many different clients. We also captured the most weddings we have ever done in a year (we won’t do that again!). Thank you to every one of our brides and grooms this year, it has been an absolute pleasure working for all of you. We are so so grateful that you chose us and we cannot wait for all the weddings we have lined up for 2023! Annie and I have so many people to thank for this year, but we have to start with Chris. Helen & Max's Wedding Film Our wedding films are focused on encapsulating your day in a short but cinematic film. We like to make our around 8 minutes long, we find this is the best time to keep them both full, whilst also being engaging. We use a number of cinematic 4K cameras to shoot our films, as well as a drone and professional audio equipment which we hide on speakers to capture crisp and clear sound. We are so happy to share James & Ellie’s wedding short. Their wedding, set upon the stunning grounds of @blake_hall_weddings was so touching and personal. Every detail was thought out and everyone was so kind and welcoming. James and Ellie’s families really took incredible care of us and we very much felt like one of them by the end of the day! It’s so nice to share a film again, I don’t think we have done in so long now it feels! It’s been so long that Instagram seem to have changed their dimensions, so we’re sorry for the crop!!
