Thankyou so much everybody who made it out to ‘The Tides Do That With Me’ . It filled my heart with so much joy meeting you all & receiving such sweet feedback ❤️‍🩹

It was such a special moment walking into & seeing the works in a new space, in a new city. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to show this body of work in Sydney alongside an extraordinary talent . Thankyou so much to all of the women for having me & curating these works so well within the gallery.

Looking forward to enjoying the rest of our trip & taking some rest for now ☁️

As some of you know I have my first solo exhibition this year in Sydney! It’s been a busy 7 months working towards this show, I’ve put every part of myself into it & as exciting as it is, it’s bloody tough working full time on a body of work with very little other income.

I don’t love having sales but sometimes it’s necessary to fund bigger projects. This will be the biggest sale I’ve had to date & it will enable & I to travel across the Nullarbor in our van, packed to the brim with these works for install.

I’m offering 30% off all vessels for the next 5 days, each & every piece made by my hands using the coiling method & minimal tools. I have a selection of colours to pick from & if you’d like to view anything in person you’re more than welcome to pop by the studio. Some pieces are ready to ship & others are made to order.

Treasures in the corner of my studio to revisit when I’m feeling stuck.

I’ve been making up miniature forms as a starting point for new works, once I’ve made the form I’ll return these back to their home 🌊 there’s so many patterns, textures, marks, grooves, curves, negative spaces to explore and re imagine in clay form. Intuition always kicks in when working with a malleable medium (the clay mostly leading the way) and they often develop into something entirely different.. it’s not really about a true representing of these findings but for my work to carry the essence of them.
