Jess & Ben, there are no words! Classic and timeless meets quintessential New England hydrangea blues. The entire weekend from beginning to end was filled with so much love and laughter.

Jess & Ben actually met because Jess’s mom saw Ben working at a hotel and said, “you’re going to marry my daughter!”

You can imagine a guy might shy away from an interaction like that, but the rest is history!

Oh hey Lake Geneva 🇨🇭, your blue water is insane 🌊

The Swiss Alps were showing off for Madeleine & Nick’s kickoff to their Switzerland destination wedding weekend! Day 1 consisted of an incredible boat session on the most gorgeous blue water I’ve ever seen - yes, it really is this color! I was amazed - jaw droppingly amazed!

Crazy to think I photographed this gorgeous wedding on my 5 year anniversary from leaving my corporate job to do this full time. Amazed that this is my life and that I get to do this for a living 🤍

Heather & Nick’s wedding day may have been a tad rainy, but it wasn’t any less incredible! The foggy backdrop at made their rain filled ceremony even more magical and romantic. As Heather walked down the aisle, the sky opened up, and so did Nick’s eyes full of loving tears as he saw his bride walk toward him. The entire day truly felt like some sort of living fairytale.

Sara & Dan - The Most Perfect Day!

One of my favorite parts of their wedding (besides how sweet these two are together!) was the overall color palette and design. Mix and match bridesmaids dresses have always been a personal fav, and it was executed with perfection for S+D. From the invitation suite, to the florals, to the gorgeous tent details - If anyone doubts hiring a wedding planner, these photos are your proof of just ONE of the many reasons why hiring a planner who also has an eye for design is worth its weight in gold. tied everything in flawlessly and created the most beautiful wedding.

It's almost time for Sara & Dan to move from "fiancé" to newlyweds!!

Their engagement session in Boston took place on one of the most gorgeous nights in the city. The South End is so special to them, and it will forever be one of my most favorite parts of the city to photograph. The brownstones, the gorgeous light, the quaintness, and the perfect weather all made for a beautiful evening with these two!

A classic springtime engagement around the city we love the most! Jackie & Ian's session around Boston was at my favorite time of year. The greens are the most beautiful shade, the sky is so beautifully blue, and the weather is perfection. Their Boston Public Library wedding will no doubt be just as gorgeous!

A pinch me moment! Words can’t express how beyond honored I am to be named one of the 2024 Best Wedding Photographers in the US by !

5 years ago I was sitting in a corporate office doing photography on the side. If you had told me then that I would be chosen out of 40,000 nominations for this, I would have thought you were nuts!

Photography has always been a huge part of my life. It has been a creative outlet, a medium to express art, and for the past almost 5 years, my full time job that I absolutely adore! Words cannot express how grateful and happy I am to be able to wake up every morning and do a job that completely fuels my soul.

A HUGE thank you to all of the incredible couples that have put their trust in me to document the biggest days of their lives. A tremendous thank you to for the incredible recognition, and anyone and everyone who has supported me from the very beginning!

How can you ensure that you have gorgeous bridal portraits?

✨ Timeline creation & collaboration with all of your vendors (planner, beauty, photo, video, florist). Building in time for you to actually enjoy your getting ready process vs. feeling rushed. Build in loads of buffer time in case things run late.

✨ Prep Work - Working with your vendor team to already have a perfect spot flooded with gorgeous natural light

I came across this fun little memory flashback on Snapchat the other day from 7 years ago (yes, Snapchat 😂 - see next slide). I was doing photography on the side and working in corporate simultaneously - literally never thought I would do photography full time - it seemed crazy to me.

I loved photographing and editing SO much. I went to college and graduated with a BBA in Marketing and a BA in Journalism. I thought the corporate world was for me!

Honestly, 1 month into working at a desk full time, I was like this is not for me. This was not the life I wanted. I felt a lack of creativity and felt I was wasting away inside while the sun was shining. I loved the people I worked with, but I knew that I was meant for more.

It felt like a waste to leave my corporate job - something I had worked so hard to get and achieve.

But what I didn’t realize was, literally everything I learned in college, the internships, corporate, etc. and all of the experiences I had, led me to this. It led me to being my own boss. Being a CEO. Running my own successful business. Making my own schedule. Taking time off when I want. Truly living life on my own terms. I use so many things from my college education & corporate life DAILY, and I know those experiences 100% have contributed to everything I know now and how I run my business.

All this to say, I think it’s easy to get lost in the day to day in this industry. To feel the burnout, to feel like there’s comparison, but not often do we actually look back and see how far we have truly come. We can’t forget everything we have achieved to get here and where we started. How our former selves 7 years ago would be crying absolute tears of joy knowing the life we have built now doing what we love.

Be proud of yourself, be proud of who you are, be proud of what you’ve become, be proud of what you’ve built, be proud of how you’ve grown, and be proud of what you’ve achieved. Little you with big dreams & 7 year ago you would be so proud.

…And if you’re reading this right now in the position that I was in 7 years ago, feeling like you’re stuck or hesitant to pursue something that sets your soul on fire, this is your sign. Happy Friday 🤍

“We met in the magical world of Hinge. I didn’t tell Bridget until after 6 months that we matched as well on Tinder and Bumble, but neither worked out. One thing I love to do to Bridget is be a troll. So, I thought of how to be a troll, but do it in the best way possible. Bridget is a huge fan of Christmas and kept saying how much she would love a Christmas proposal. I couldn’t make it too obvious by just getting her a small box. So I got her one small box that I put inside of a Hallmark box. Then that Hallmark box was in a bigger shoe box with 4 books that were wrapped. That shoe box was inside of a Keurig box, just for fun because it fit in it. Then the Keurig box was next to another box that had a food processor in it, and those two boxes were inside a much larger food storage container box because I needed a bigger box. It took about 20 minutes for Bridget to go through all of the gifts and get to the ring. To add a little extra troll in there, I labeled each gift “To Bridget, From Jayson” but when it got to the ring box, I put “To Jayson, From Bridget” so she had to hand me the ring box unknowing what it was. Then, I opened the ring box and as soon as she saw it, she freaked out knowing what it was. We have been together now for almost 3.5 years and by the time we get married, we will be together for 4.5. We both have always loved each others company. We are always laughing together, we have a lot of fun, and even when we are driving each other crazy, it is still always a fun time.” I had an amazing time photographing these two lovebird’s wedding this past weekend!! 🤍
