I follow many of the Facebook/YouTube DJ’s. Did we miss out on the eclipse? We traveled from Birmingham to Metropolis, home of Superman. It was a town square type small town event. We did have clear skies and a total eclipse. After walking around, we noticed a DJ.

During the start of the eclipse, she started playing songs relating to the sun and weather related music. After the total eclipse she started with “here comes the Sun”
by the Beatles.

Did we miss out on revenue?

I originally had problems with my HDMI cable. It must be bi-directional

It was a great show in Atlantic City this year. Outstanding showroom floor. It is great to see me, feel me, touch me. I was impressed by the Pioneer and the Both Lighting booth. The light Tubes looked great. Really a great layout.

My last show was in Las Vegas a few years back before Covid. I believe the AC show floor was larger.

It important to take advantage of continuing education.

RB 6.6.8 Upgrade

If your software crashes after the update, go directly to rekordbox.com and download the update from their server location. This will fix the program if you experience any issues. I could not load songs onto Deck 1 or 2.

Rekordbox 6.5.0 Lyric output to video wall.

Rekordbox sending video out to monitor 3 (right) and OBS software to monitor 1, (left). Monthly service plan for “Lyric” and “Video”. Version 6+, works flawlessly. Intel I5, 32 gig of base memory. AMD 4 port video card with video splitter for video wall output. HP desktop, not sure if a notebook will power the applications. CPU running 7% to up to 28% capacity. Memory usage never exceeded 50%. Learning curve extensive due to constant changes. Not all songs are Lyric compatible. Rotating Spear is animation purchased from Phil Bearman, Creative Media Solutions. (several packages available). I believe they are in the UK, and is less than $20.00 US. Windows or MAC video editor can be used for linking videos to a track. As for the Lighting in Recordbox, the theory is great, I have not made it past the learning curve on macro editing. I just may have to stay with a DMX controller.
