Volunteers Needed to help with formatting our LGBTQIA+ inclusive K-6 curriculum in Canva. We've finished formatting for grades K-2, and we're onto grades 3-6. We hope to finish by the end of February.

We'll show you how to format. It requires copying and pasting, and you'll need a laptop.

A little more info on the K-6 curriculum:

San Francisco Unified School District uses a K-6 general education LGBTQIA+ inclusive curriculum aligned with CA state standards. They shared their curriculum with us and gave us permission to adapt it, use it, and share it.

Our Family Coalition and Welcoming Schools is letting us use their LGBTQIA+ inclusive lesson plans that are aligned with the Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, and Respectful (FAIR) Education Act. The FAIR Education Act is a CA law that requires public schools to include accurate and inclusive representations of diverse groups in their history and social studies curriculum.

We need help adding these lesson plans into the curriculum in Canva, as well as LGBTQIA+ inclusive book bundles for each grade level into the curriculum, which teachers requested of us.

The new year has already started out strong with a number of gigs under my belt. I’ll be DJing Dance Fitness Classes .fitness twice a month this year so be sure to check back for dates and come try out a class! The first week is FREE!
