Elite Dance Events is not playing around in 2024 and is proud to present its first annual;

ELITE INDUSTRY DAY 🎥🎥🎥

What makes this different to every other workshop day out there? 🥱

This day is essential to those wanting to go into the industry because not only are we supplying Masterclasses that will teach you skills to get you booked and busy but we are also bringing you seminars, Q & A sessions, opportunities to be scouted, professionally filmed and chat to local colleges and businesses who can help move you forward in your career!!

We are going to explore a small number of routes you can take when heading into the industry;

- West End Masterclass, Seminar and Q & A
- Cruise Ship Masterclass, Seminar and Q & A
- Showgirl Masterclass, Seminar and Q & A
- Commercial Masterclass, Seminar and Q & A
- Disney Masterclass, Seminar and Q & A
- Becoming a dance Teacher Seminar and Q & A
- Help with Auditions and Showreels Seminar

Age 11+ welcome but focusing on ages 16 - Adults (for serious dancers only!)🙌

"My student is brand new to championships can he/she enter?"

Absolutely!

We welcome students whether they are taking their first steps toward their championship journey or whether they are regulars on the champ and TDCI circuit. All competitors will be treat fairly and we hope to give new championship dancers and their parents a positive experience for their first ever championship.

"How do I know when they are ready?"

We always say if a student is regularly placing and/or winning in the Open sections at competitions, they are ready to give championships a go. Its important to talk to your students about how championships work and get a sense whether they are ready mentally as well as physically but trying friendly championships will give them a good push and may even bring their dance technique on further once they've been part of a high standard section. It can really give them fire in their belly to get that Re-Dance.

From now on, if you enter a student into an Elite Dance Events championship and its their first time, please let us know and we will provide them with a certificate to mark the occasion and this will be presented to them at the end of the section.

We know this is an important step for not only dancers but parents and teachers too and it's important we treat it with the same respect!

After the success of our Easter Championships 🐣

Our next event is Spring Championships - May 18th/19th in Hartlepool.

🏆Saturday 18th May.
Baby Cabaret (capped at 25 entries)
Juv. Jun. Sen Lyrical (capped at 50 entries)

🏆Sunday 19th May
Juv. Jun. Sen Acro (capped at 50 entries)

We can take pre- registered entries now without payment and will be in touch at the end of the month to confirm and take payments.

Any drop out spaces will then be advertised accordingly.

Well we are back with a bang!!! 💥💥💥💥💥

What a fantastic start to our 2024 season with Baby Classical and Juv.Jun.Sen Modern and Song sections!

We had 180 competitors, we have 7 new champions and 40 dancers qualifying for our Ultimate Championship Grand Final in January.

A huge thank you to all the schools who supported us this weekend, and to every competitor who took to the stage to show your talents.

Thank you to our fantastic adjudicator Miss Lauren Gordon and her writer. We are so thankful for your knowledge and expertise.

Thank you to Amy, Daniel, Shaunna, Gemma, Megan and Molly for your help throughout the weekend!

Teamwork really does make the dream work! 💫💫

What a fantastic first day of our Easter Championship starting with Baby Classical and Modern.

Over 100 incredible competitors took to the stage and any one of you could of took the top 6 💥💥

We are back tomorrow with our song and dance sections and it's another busy one!!

Here's a few tips to make the day run smoothly:

- Please bring correct change for wristbands (£7)
- If we are playing your music please bring on USB ONLY!
- Check our socials regularly in case we run early or late.
- Doors open at 10am (no earlier due to insurance purposes) to start at 10:30am prompt.
