Thanks to everyone who came out and helped for our family day event. We had the crowd summon Beetlejuice from the grave, the ghostbusters helped catch a pesky slimer, we had free finger food for everyone and gave away over $500 in raffles and contests. If you missed it make sure you follow us so you don’t miss next years event. I’ll post some more pictures in a little bit.

Tent is up for the family day event tomorrow 9/28 from noon to 3. Rain or shine come out and have a great time. We have finger foods, treat bags for the first 150 kids, face painting, psychic readings, scavenger hunt, raffles, our famous fashion show with guest host and more. See you soon.

Make sure you save the date for our 15th annual family day on Saturday September 28th from noon to 3. We will have all of our yearly activities such as fashion show, treat bags for kids, face painting, snack, and a raffle. We are adding a scavenger hunt to win extra raffle tickets, the ghostbuster will be here with their vehicle, and we will have a psych that will be doing readings for tips. Also a special guest host for the family show.

So here is the biggest sale we have ever down and what I was hinting at in an earlier post. Over the 15 years we have had many different costumes and vendors. Sometimes a brand changes vendors, a certain size doesn’t sell, or the costume just under performs. So we are running a lot of costumes at 40-60% off. This is just a start to show what will be here. It will be adults and kids and we will add more costumes to it every few days so keep coming back to see what is on sale. In this first run it’s all kids but some marvel characters, monster hill, sky lander and even a slytherin robe. Stay tune daily for new product and pictures of what we are offering at crazy prices.

So we have been opened for a few days now. We are about 90% set. We still have a few props to plug in and get going and some organizing on the floor. We are still waiting on about 1 1/2 of product to come in and new masks from 2 different vendors. Sorry we took a few days off of posting but the best posts will be coming in the next few days including the biggest sale we have ever offered. Stay tuned.

We will be opening today as previously mentioned. Please pardon our appearance as we continue to set up props and decorations, check in and put out more product and organize the store. We still have our weapons, hats and sexy costumes in boxes but anticipate they should all be out by end of day. We are expecting most large props out by end of the day with smaller ones all out by end of the weekend. All of our masks, wigs, and makeup are out although we are still waiting for a few new deliveries. Just a reminder everything in the store is 15% off until 9/27 in honor of our 15th anniversary.

So we are going to stick with our Friday 8/30 10am opening date. This will be considered a soft opening. This means while the majority of our product will be out it, it will not be as organized to our standards as we’d like. We will still have some boxes on the floor as we work out the product. We anticipate having about 1/2 of our animatronics up with the remaining ones completed by the end of the weekend. We have 3 full pallets of just received new product that we will be working on getting out over the weekend as well. We are still waiting on a major costume delivery as well as delivery from two mask companies. We didn’t want to make you wait many longer especially when many of you have a long weekend off due to Labor Day. See you in about 24 hours.

If you are working this season and you are able to help for the next two days we need some support. We still want to try to open for Friday but need to finish getting everything out of boxes and up on racks.

Clearance: Many people don’t realize this but we have a clearance section. In our store. The items are there are sometime missing a piece or slightly damaged but sometimes it’s just a brand or costume we don’t carry anymore. Typically these are already marked down and there is a second sticker on them is there is something missing or wrong explaining what it is. These items are usually 25% the lowest price marked on them but for our 15th anniversary they will be 50% off for the whole season. These costumes and items are great if you just needs parts or are using them just a time or two.
