RAGBRAI 2024 is far in the rear view mirror now, and recently the RAGBRAI Exec Team visited each town along the route to review our experience this past July. A good discussion took place with Milo committee representatives, and the RAGBRAI team shared the following comments from their annual rider survey about our town:

Milo was just fun.
Fun theme (Milo-Ritaville), and the town just seemed really
engaged. Runners up would be Agency and St. Marys.
Great breakfast options, and there were plenty of local folks who
wanted to engage.
Cool town with cool people.
Milo Locker Meats was a great stop with soft serve cones for
only $2 and bathroom.
Milo put so much time and effort into making sure we had a
good time! Loved it!!!

Great to see these comments and VERY proud of our community! And one more time - thanks to all who helped make the day a success!

We will be selling leftover sausages (from the Milo Locker), a few slices of pie, ice cream cups, candy bars and pickle juice shots at the Milo Farmers Market tomorrow from 4-7. See you there!

Milo's Larry Benedict shot this drone footage at 11:00 am Wednesday. A really cool overhead look right about the time things were kicking in. A little over 8 minutes long, and a great view! Thank you Larry.

This small shopping cart is on the corner of Main and 2nd, behind the BIG CHAIR. Been there since Wednesday and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t left by a rider, so if it’s yours please pick it up. Thanks!
