🔥 IRON SPIRIT PRO WRESTLING: HOLD THE GOLD – RESULTS & RECAP 🔥
What. A. Night.
Every match, every moment, and every surprise had the crowd on their feet inside the Community Activity Center in Normal, IL. From shocking betrayals to championship drama — Hold The Gold delivered from start to finish.
Here’s what went down 👇
💪 B.A. Malkin def. Tommy Davis (Pinfall)
The night kicked off with a slugfest between two heavy hitters. Tommy Davis came out swinging, but B.A. Malkin dug deep and picked up the win after a brutal back-and-forth battle. After the match, Malkin grabbed the mic and made his intentions crystal clear — he’s tired of waiting and is officially calling his shot for the Iron Spirit Downstate Championship!
🔥 Angel Escalera def. The Prodigal Son (via DQ)
This one had the crowd fired up. Angel Escalera had the momentum, feeding off the fans every step of the way — until The Prodigal Son snapped. Using his bull rope, he choked out Escalera right in front of everyone. The ref had no choice but to call for the bell, and the Iron Spirit crowd let The Prodigal Son know exactly what they thought about it. Escalera might’ve won the match, but it sure didn’t feel like justice.
💥 Alfonso Gonzalez def. Stone Ambrose & Trevor Outlaw (Triple Threat)
All three men came to fight, but Alfonso Gonzalez stole the show. After chaos broke loose in the ring, Gonzalez picked his moment perfectly — catching Stone Ambrose for the pin and walking out with a massive win. Alfonso just made a statement to the entire Iron Spirit locker room.
🏆 Sean Logan (c) def. Shain Boucher (Downstate Championship Match)
This one had the fans divided from the start. Boucher came in hungry for redemption, but the champion Sean Logan played every card he had — and then some. With a little too much help from Gunner Brave, Logan retained his title once again. The crowd wasn’t happy, but Logan didn’t care — a win is a win in his book.
⚔️ Jay Marston def. Drake Holloway
Personal. Intense. Raw emotion. These two went to war in a grudge match that could’ve gone either way. Both men left it all in the ring, but in the end, Marston pulled out the hard-fought victory. You could feel the tension lift the moment the bell rang — this one was pure Iron Spirit storytelling.
💥 The Hype (c) def. Trauma Unit (Tag Team Championship)
Tag team wrestling at its finest. The Hype and Trauma Unit tore the house down in a nonstop, high-octane title bout that had the crowd losing their voices. After several near falls and jaw-dropping moments, The Hype held strong and kept their Iron Spirit Tag Team Championships.
🏆 Main Event – Three Stages of Hell: Solomon Tupu def. Gunner Brave (New Iron Spirit Pro Champion!)
This was chaos… and it was glorious.
First Fall (Tupu with One Arm Tied Behind the Back): Tupu fought through the disadvantage and still managed to pin Brave to take the first fall.
Second Fall (No DQ – For Gunner Brave Only): Brave used every trick in the book — and then framed Tupu by faking a chair shot to get a disqualification win.
Final Fall (815 Rules): All hell broke loose. Sean Logan joined in, turning it into a 2-on-1 assault. Just when it looked like Tupu was done, Shain Boucher stormed in to even the odds. Tupu battled back and scored the pin to reclaim the Iron Spirit Pro Wrestling Championship!
The celebration didn’t last long though — Boucher, who had just saved Tupu, turned on him moments later and left the new champ laid out cold in the middle of the ring. The crowd couldn’t believe it.
😱 WHAT A NIGHT.
Rivalries were born. Alliances were shattered. Championships changed hands.
And it’s only the beginning.
