The California Open will be here before you know it and as usual, I’m getting excited all over again! I know that there are many events to choose from these days, so I’m flattered that you are considering the California Open DanceSport Championships to be included on your 2017 competition calendar. Sunny, warm California is the place to be in February! I hope you will join me in the warmth of the

sun, here at our new venue, the Hilton Hotel, Costa Mesa from February 15-19. You won’t want to miss our exciting show on Saturday evening, featuring World Professional Latin Finalists, Eugene Katsevman and Maria Manusova.…Entertaining …. Passionate…. Electrifying…Don’t miss it!!! Don’t forget that Friday is Valentine’s Day and it’s also President’s Day weekend and many of you have Monday off. I won’t mention…okay, I will… that the ultimate shopping mall is just a mere ¼ mile from our hotel. South Coast Plaza is a shopping delight. For the art lovers, Laguna Beach….for family, Disneyland. Southern California has it all so why not make it a great winter get away?! It’s the perfect place to celebrate our sport and if you don’t know by now….California Open is all about Emotions…
