Through a story done in a local magazine article, the moniker "Rainmaker Productions" was used and a business emerged. Michael Cavale, a local Insurance agent, started producing shows in Visalia in 1995; first to bring positive entertainment to Visalia for his sons, which then branched out to shows for local charities. After spending seven years at the Visalia Fox Theatre, three of them as the in-

house Talent Buyer, Ryan Stillwater learned the ropes of live entertainment from the ground up and now is the Venue Coordinator for Oval Park for the Visalia Rescue Mission. He has also been operating his own record label and artist management company, Romanced Records, since 2004.

Make it rain...

Local insurance agent, Michael Cavale, started producing shows in Visalia, CA in 1995 as a means to bring positive entertainment to town for his three sons, which then branched out to benefit concerts for local charities. In 2006, a local news story on Cavale referred to him as a "rainmaker" for his ability to attract quality acts. Ryan Stillwater learned the ropes of live entertainment from the ground up from mentors like Cavale while spending seven years at the Fox Theatre in Visalia, CA; three of them as the in-house Talent Buyer. Stillwater now resides in Bend, Oregon with his family and is the Development Director full-time with a Bend nonprofit organization.
