"In 1985, the music temple ‘Ancienne Belgique‘ opened its doors in Antwerp, Belgium. its famous ‘sound’ was a very bold mix of new-wave, ska, Balearic, jazz, EBM and film music. The music was rhythmic and slow, the tempo rarely higher than 110 beats per minute. The AB was the birthplace of the Belgian New Beat sound."
Celtric has been active in the Belgian underground since 1996. This bonafide underground devotee has been a former member of Belgian underground crews like Funky Green Aliens, Analog Pleasures, Drop Acid Not Bombs, Cultmus & Tribes Gathering and is since 2019 curator of Dance Mekanik. Slowly working on his own brand of deep, slowly mutating acid techno since that time he released in 2021 his debut EP on the Dutch label New York Haunted. The label wrote: "Blending the freetekno, free party, free acid vibe of the 90's with tripped out samples, and hard hitting hypnotic vibes of modern techno, but with an ease and spontaneity seldom heard in current dance music."

It is the place of action for a group of artists, scientists and technologists to observe bee colonies in non intrusive set-ups.

MaxPacemaker is the alter ego of Antwerp-based multi-instrumentalist Max PhilippWeies. He explored pretty much every sort of genre from Metal to Punk, from Psychedelic music to Jazz. Growing up near Cologne, he found his love for electronic
music in the Club scene of the 90’s. As a guitar-player he founded the electro-acoustic band Go March, which shifted from Krautrock towards a sound that was heavily influenced by Dance-music, ranging from Italo-Disco to Techno.
Meanwhile Weies was experimenting with drum computers sent through guitar effects,hardware synthesizers and Ableton Live. He eventually assembled his own customized Techno machine using a modular synth with an Ableton effect-rack and recently played
first solo shows as MaxPacemaker.
Influenced by the likes of Ritchie Hawtin, Blawan and Speedy J, his improvised sets arealways different, but undeniably situated on the darker side of the spectrum.Polyrhythmic percussion, acidic elements and reverberating rumbles merge together and create a maze of tunnels that may or may not lead you to light.

Sometimes i see "artists" post/look down on promotors & curators. I'm a dj producer & curator and I can say: curator is an artist.. you offer a total artwork/concept/experience in artwork, space, line-up, sound & light. A compliment I got from an international artist that plays Tresor, Dekmantel, Salon Des Amateurs etc: you feel your "soul" in your events, you are chaotic but i never felt such "pure vibes" on an event..

Legendary West German studio engineer Conny Plank is the subject of The Potential Of Noise, a new documentary shining a light on the story of the producer, through the stories of the many artists he worked with.
Co-directed by Conny’s son, Stephen Plank, and Reto Caduff, the film takes a look at the career and legacy of Conny, who helped the likes of Kraftwerk, Neu!, Euryhthmics and Ultravox find their sound, and whom died in 1987 as result of cancer, at the age of just 47. His influence ranges across krautrock, avant garde electronics and progressive rock.

As co-owner of Salon Des Amateurs in Dusseldorf they fueled the avant "slower is the new fast" sound. For ages nighttime was said to be the time of ghosts and spirits. Detlef Weinrich, alias Toulouse Low Trax, too, seems to have lingered in the irrational universe of frozen continuity quite frequently within the last 15 years. Everyone who drifts to the sound of his Music will soon sense the musical intensity boding a different Dancefloor. Cool, atmospheric new-wave-sharpness, and a cushioned beat rate between 107 and 116 bpm call out a mechanical functionality that doesn't bow to any contemporary doctrine. " Urban music, club album.
