This is why we love Dave Grohl! If you ever find yourself in Sebastian, we will BBQ for our community here!

Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters spent Super Bowl Sunday cooking for the homeless.

According to Hope of the Valley, Grohl and his friends donated over 24 hours of their time to barbecuing 70 pork butts for The Woodlands Family Shelter in Woodland Hills, California.

Grohl has donated his time and BBQ skills to feed the homeless on multiple occasions in recent years. Back in December, he spent a day off from Foo Fighters’ Australian tour feeding the homeless in Melbourne, Australia. Before that, he spent more than 18 hours behind a smoker cooking for at-risk people impacted by winter storms in Southern California.

We will be serving at the Pareidolia Ukulele Fest on Saturday, April 1st. On the menu will be Kalua Pork (smoked in banana leaves) along with our regular menu.

Thank you to everyone who came out to River Days FL and supported us. Always great to see familiar faces and make new friends. Because of your support will be sending another cheque to the Warriors for Multiple Sclerosis. Thank you to Derek Gerry, Marc Gingras and all the volunteers for all the support and running around (and the walkie talkies for extra fun!!). It lets us focus on putting out great BBQ. Thanks to our friends Patti, Mike, Lori, Ed, Lynnzie, Jaimi and Shannon for helping out at the food truck. If I have missed anyone, it was due to a long few days! See y’all at our next event!
