Setup at Kisii national Polytechnic takes us into a happily ever after ride.
It was beautiful baby pinks. Navy blue and white under an equally amazing azure Sky

We witnessed the holy matrimony between Phillia and Joseph who like the king and queen on their special day adorned our event

The setting was High peak tents. Dressed chairs in white spandex
Restaurant setting and Fresh Roses whose beautiful scent wafted ingge air giving midsummer vibez

The catering section was awash with mouthwatering delicacies that were provided by team Firstlady Events and Catering kisii Thank you team for acting it always.

✨ **Celebrating Love in Style!** ✨

This past Friday, we had the immense pleasure of providing both decor and catering services for the beautiful wedding of Catherine and Prophet Roggers Nyabuto of the Holy Synagogue Church, Kiogoro.

The bride's color choices of Royal Blue, Purple, and Lavender made for an elegant and vibrant setting. It was an unforgettable day, with a guest list that included notable figures from Kisii, ministry partners, congregation members, and residents of Rianchogu village in Ogembo.

The celebration was filled with the enchanting sounds of Kisii traditional obokano tunes and beloved Kisii wedding songs, getting everyone on their feet, shoulders shaking and feet stamping.

We were honored to serve over 2,000 guests and be a part of such a joyous occasion. Congratulations to the newlyweds, Catherine and Roggers!

Having 4 serving points for 500 guests each was not easy. On the menu, we had:

- Fresh juice, water, soda
- Pineapple salad, coleslaw, kachumbari, garden salad
- Fish dry fry, chicken wet fry, chicken butter, beef stew, goat dry fry, bean stew
- Creamed masosa, managu, steamed cabbage
- White rice/pilau, chapatis, ugali (white/brown), mokimo, roasted potatoes
- Fruit cuts in season

It was indeed a buffet fit for kings!

Elegance 💕💕💕 here a touch of class rules the day. It not just about our regular. We've stepped a notch higher and bring you the latest Aframe tents with this beautiful set-up at the Nyanchwa Ekerore area kisii this past weekend.
The Brides colors of choice were Gold, White and a touch of black.
Indeed it turned out to be very very beautiful. The fairy lights illumination especially when dusk set in were ethereal. Lending a romantic atmosphere and blues feeling to everything.

Traditional African ceremonies have been our norm since time immemorial.
This one was a fusion of both Kisii and Ugandan traditions and it was a grand affair.Those in attendance can attest to the fact that the flowers were all absolutely breathtaking. Set against a beautiful tapestry of Gold .Emerald green and White drapery it is amongst the Hills of Birongo that this ceremony was executed .Indeed the first one of it's kind ever. The Luganda Nankassa. Baakisimba and Mugwola dance tunes interspaced with Obokano beats...as this sounds rent the air the bevy of beauties grayated to it's tempo. Giving off a true African aura.

Almasi Welfare Group is the newest baby in town. they held their annual General meeting at the Waterpark grounds in kisii town. The have grounds which are neatly manicured a forest of trees on either side with a river flowing right next to it. Giving a tropical rainforest vibe...

Last Month. The Kisii University family gathered at the Monarch Garden's at Mosocho in Kisii county to bid farewell to the outgoing Vice chancellor professor John Akama who served in this capacity for 10 years since the university received its charter in 2013..
The auspicious occasion was graced by the Kisii University Fraternity.. Kisii Council of elders who performed a Gusii traditional ceremony of installing professor Akama as Gusii elder.
The political class. Family and Friends from all walks of life.
The Kisii University colors Gold.white and Ocean blue provided a perfect backdrop for the setting. For this one of a kind event.
We at First lady catering and Events are humbled to have been of service at this event.

The saying goes April showers bring May 🌺🌺🌺 flowers and beautiful spring. A beautiful bride adorned in an exquisite wedding gown and a cathedral veil fit for a queen.. The colours Baby pink, white and Navy blue took on a life of their own and gave a majestic vibrance to the decor while the flowers in the same hues shined bright beneath a beautiful sky.. This Garden wedding set in the beautiful manicured lawns of the Monarch gardens in Mosocho Kisii set pace for our April wedding season.

This past weekend we were honored to be part of a great Charity event by ENA Coach. The event saw over 1,000 children from homes spread throughout the greater Kisii region come together for a day of Fun & Games. Prayer& Worship... The Joy that the children exuded and the laughter that came with it was a blessing Indeed. That we were tasked with providing Catering and decor services was in itself very humbling. Because as we shared meals we came face to face with the stark reality that we have thousands of abandoned children in our midst. What part are you playing in making a difference in the lives of these children? I know I'm gonna do better by them so help me God.

This past weekend we had the pleasure of being of service to the Omayo family at Egesieri Nyamira county.
They were celebrating their Dad's 70th birthday and it was a celebration of the achievement of a full life blessed with Happiness. Health.and prosperity. Mzee Omayo received quite the surprise😊 when he walked down to the happy birthday song and great ululations and merry.

This beautiful Hexagon tent and Canopy offered a perfect easel on which we Catering and everything events were able to create a beautiful Intimate setting with soft, Warm hues of Red White and Gold. The Restaurant sitting. Chiavari chairs and Rich Fresh Florals.were a crown to the Full table setting. The Florals were definitely the crown of the event. All this elements created a luxurious yet Ethereal atmosphere for this beautiful Memorial ceremony at Bogwendo Nyamira county.We continue to offer excellence and elegance with great attention to detail.

In life there are Hurdles and great triumphs. It always seems like its Impossible to do anything until it is done so we try until we get it done to perfection.
Thus. While growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.
That is why this Silver celebration for a young man @ 25 was special.
The colors chosen Emerald green were for his love of nature.silver for his jubilee year and white to tie up everything so clean and pure.
The seating was Restaurant style. With gold chiavari chairs. Green and white colored charger plates. Emerald Green napkins and beautiful white rings. The tablescape crown was a clear tall vase with fresh white Roses. Indeed it was a celebration fit for a king.

The real estate market in kisii is fast expanding and with it are Beautiful spaces. I must say I was wowed by this one in particular. Ohhh the Mischief we had.You were my greatest supporter during closing day fights drawing the line on the ground so that our opponent would cross 😊 I'm smilling through my tears because. I know we had the best childhood ever. and it went on into our adulthood. We went our separate ways reconnected and went on like we had never parted. I could write a whole book about you. Today all I do is cry, praying that God receives you in his heavenly kingdom. I was looking forward to Aug 6th in Indiana to watch you walk down the aisle. But God had different plans. In the culmination of events that brought together two cultures. Both equally as rich in their ways and traditions this came into being at a small but very intimate Nyombo/ Ekerorano ceremony. This was In the love story of Vinah and Stephen at Chirichiro village in kisii county this past weekend. nothing was left to chance here.. The decor was a Regal Navy blue and Gold with a beautiful kitenge batik work in the same colours..The mouthwatering feast that was laid out was one fit for the king's coming in 2 parts. Breakfast and Lunch..The Guests arrival was marked by ululation and lyrical Ohangla Music ln all truth our Folk from the lakeside know how to bring the house down.Our own Obokano sounds rent the air. and in shoulder shaking finesse and foot thumping the party was underway.. Saying I do at the Maya Holiday point on a warm sultry day was a blessing indeed. The couple had their wedding at the attorneys office and choose an outdoor venue for their wedding Reception. It was a small intimate party of 60 Guests. Very cozy. The brides choice of color was beautiful Gold and Navy blue while the fresh flowers lended an air of aristocratic elegance paired with our beautiful gold centerpieces.
