Today is National Gingerbread House Day! Such a fun and delicious winter activity- and an easy thing to infuse for adult gatherings this holiday season!
According to the newest reports from **dmaps, 69% of consumers felt that edibles are gaining popularity, more than any other category of consumption!
Here’s an easy infused gingerbread recipe you can make at home (21+ only!)
2/3 cup of softened infused canna-butter
3/4 cup packed, dark brown sugar
2/3 cup sulphured molasses
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tb ground ginger
1 tb ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp ground cloves
Beat canna-butter until smooth and creamy. Add in brown sugar & molasses. Beat on medium until smooth. Add in egg & vanilla,beat on high for 2 mins.
In separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves. On low speed, slowly combine wet and dry ingredients.
Chill dough for at least 3 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll out chilled dough and cut into desired shapes. Bake cookies 8-11 mins depending on cookie thickness. Allow to cool and decorate!
