Staying local.
The triptych rhombus of custom artwork that hangs in Harken Hall’s lobby is by Nashville artist Jim Sherraden, also known as the talent behind Hatch Show Print.
Our desire was to utilize local established artisans and connect to the well-established traditions of Hatch Show Print. In the artist’s words, the art is a tribute to “song” and the embrace of pattern work is inspired by nature. These three pieces hang like brightly colored stones in one room, while the symmetry of song emerges from the next.
Bringing Nashville back to its roots.
Harken Hall sits just outside the Nashville city limits in Madison, Tennessee. Only minutes from the Grand ‘Ole Opry, Madison is home to early stars, now legends in the Opry, and other founders of the country music scene. It’s a neighborhood full of up-and-coming artists and creatives, making it the ideal location for this type of venue.
A haven for sound.
The wall cavities inside the venue are lined with acoustic mineral wool to reduce reverberant noise levels by absorbing sound waves, much like a recording studio. They are then covered with corral board to complete the custom-designed acoustic environment.
The careful construction of Harken Hall makes it a world-class listening room.

This venue is anchored by a 700-seat concert hall in a 12,000-square-foot main room and adjacent recording studio. It’s a place where people can make and hear good music, enjoy social gatherings, be treated hospitably and feel comfortable.
Opening Fall 2024.
At Harken Hall, sustainability isn’t just a choice—it’s a responsibility we’re committed to upholding.
The venue was primarily constructed with 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood from Big Timberworks in Montana, chosen for its sustainability and historical character. We’re partnering with Compost Nashville to help eliminate food waste, and there will be no plastic water bottles, utensils or straws, instead employing aluminum cans for drinks.
From day one, we’ve made these practices a core part of what we do.
Artistry in architecture.
Harken Hall has been carefully designed with intentionality and patience. From the choice of wood to deliver the best acoustics to a best-in-class AV system, every decision was made with excellence in mind from top to bottom.
