Good morning Sydney! A view one never tires of.
A great 2 weeks on Ovation of the Seas comes to an end. Laughs had with Jonathan Clarke, Dave Callan,
Steve Allison, Mike Bennett and Mike Hunnerup.
Great to also catch up with old girlfriend Rochelle.
Now back to Melbourne for holiday Program Shows for kids🎩🙃🎩

Just heard of the passing of Michael Leunig.
Australian Artist Icon.
Was so fortunate to have had dinner with him
and his wife many years ago, with an old girlfriend (who knew him). A wonderful conversationalist
and a beautiful soul that touched others with his compassion and empathy. ❤️

Taken last week - before Showtime.
I love the few minutes -taking in the room, before going on-stage. Performing for a large crowd is a complex experience.
On occasion, the undercurrent of fear. The sheer size of the crowd can be intimidating when I scope the room beforehand - with the pressure to deliver a memorable performance, yet thankfully that dissipates once on-stage. Unfortunately every mistake feels magnified and can stay with one for hours after the curtain drops.The vulnerability of being in the spotlight, with all eyes on you, can create a sense of isolation despite being surrounded by so many, often magnified when there is no one to wind down with after and share the evenings experience with.
The balance between joy and fear is what makes the experience so intense and unforgettable -
and if you do a good show...and the audience comes along for the ride...it makes all the trepidation worthwhile.

It's been too too long between laughs and hugs!

Unfortunately Both James Bustar and I got off the ship as Andrii and Evgeniia got on ..but we crammed 3 years of catch up into 30 mins!.
So proud to be able to call them my good friends.
