The Brilliant Story Bar in Roswell, Georgia not only has great food and drinks, but customers have found the environment just right for exchanging stories. Now there is a monthly event at the Brilliant Story Bar called Stories on the Square Roswell on the second Thursday of every month from 7PM-9PM in conjunction with the Southern Order of Storytellers and the Stories on the Square in Decatur and

Gwinnett. There is an open mike format. Anyone who would like to tell puts his/her name in a hat, and names will be drawn at random to tell. All names will be picked if time allows. We focus on true personal stories. The do's and don'ts of the stories are as follows: stories should be 7 minutes or shorter and have a beginning, a middle, and of course, an end! The stories must be told, not read. Please, NO RANTS, whether political, religious, or ex-lovers and no music or poetry unless incorporated into the story. Adult content, humor and personal insight are welcome and sometimes encouraged by the monthly THEME. Language is not censored. Feedback will be provided upon request at the end of the event. Not sure you're ready to share? Telling a story is not required - we welcome all listeners too! Come join us for something special in the air at the Brilliant Bar!
