DON'T BOX YOUR EXPECTATIONS, THIS 2024
This January, we're trusting God for something as a family and we have a channel we are looking at, but the channel is still in expectation. And as a result there's a little concern in me as the mother of the family.
On Tuesday morning, while in meditation, I heard a voice in my heart...
"Don't box your expectations, be opened to other channels too"
I was like okay.
And the urge came to me to write on this topic and to also encourage everyone out there, having some expectations too.

THE MISSIONARY'S WIFE
Okay, so there's this story I heard about a certain missionary Family.
You all will agree with me that, 2020 was a very tough year.
It did not spare anyone....
The rich
The middle
The okay
The poor
The very poor.
And so this missionary family, which served in a remote small village in East Africa was not spared too, as their host church was on total lockdown, so it became difficult to gather welfare for them.
And every family became skeptical about the little they have, thereby hurdling their little, for fear of tomorrow.
Things became pretty tough for the missionary family of four;
The husband, the wife & their two children.
No where to go...
No money in the house...
No food to eat...
And so, one morning the woman had gone into the nearby forest to cry as she couldn't bear to watch her children cry in hunger.
Her husband had unavoidably gone out for evangelism.
Trusting God for a miracle.
And so the wife, while in the forest cried out saying;
"Jesus, I don't know how you're going to do this miracle for my family, but we need some groceries, the children are hungry."
There's this billionaire in that town, he's not a Christian and he's openly opposed to anything that has Jesus Name on it.
On several occasions, he'd made some instigating & derogatory statements about missionaries in that locality.
But barely few hours after the missionary wife prayed, a truck load of groceries drove into their premise.
And the billionaire had already given an order to the dispatch man saying,
"If the missionary Family asks for the source of the gift, tell them that, the devil sent us to give it to you and your family"
The whole essence of the statement was to mock the missionary Family.
And so, they drove into the Missionary's residence to the surprise and Joy of the whole family.
The groceries have come.!
The family expressed their deepest gratitude.
On departure, the dispatch man asked,
"Ma'am, are you not going to ask us the source of this groceries..?
And the missionary wife smiled and said to him,
"Few hours before you came, I asked Jesus for some groceries for my family, but I didn't specify for Him whom to send to me. Because I know that, the Earth is his own and everything that is in it. The world and everyone that is in it belongs to Him.... It's in His power to decide who to send to us."
And she reached out and held the dispatch man's hand gently and looking into his face with gratitude, she said;
"Thank you for allowing yourself to be the channel of blessings to my family. The groceries will go a long way"
Send our deepest gratitude to your sender and tell him/her that, our prayers will be lifted up for them, always.
Was the dispatch man shocked at the response.?
Was the dispatch man embarrassed..?
Was the dispatch man disappointed..?
Did the dispatch man feel defeated..?
You have my best guess too.
In this 2024, be opened to any channel God is going to pass through to help you.
