My last wedding of 2023 was this past weekend and it was such an amazing experience. You could honestly FEEL the love between my couple. Their vendor team was on point and my assistants were amazing as always!

Happy to say I ended my 2023 wedding season on top of the world!!

Calendar Blocking in 2022 was a huge help. This year, it's gonna be a game changer for me.

As a wife, mom, and entrepreneur, my days run together at times. I can't rely on my brain to remember everybody's schedule (Doctors appointments, classes, vet appointments, events, etc). So, I decided to utilize every resource I had available to me.

▪️I have a wall calendar that I change monthly.

▪️I have this notebook calendar I use as my source of truth.

▪️I have a small purse size calendar that I'll start keeping with me.

▪️Not to mention the wall calendar in the kitchen.

Seems excessive, right? Probably so. But I'll run on time. I'll be organized. I'll be able to ensure that I create space for all the things I have to do and the things I want to do, like vacations. I'll go live tomorrow evening to talk about how calendar blocking is a form of self care, too!

I know you all like to DIY, but when it comes to your really special event or those over the top designs, I strongly advise against that. Next time, you want to question your designers quote after you sent your inspiration pics from Pinterest, I want you to think about this video. This design took about 20 skilled designers, 10 laborers, 6 large box trucks, 2 vans, and countless vendors to pull off. A core team worked for 20 hours on this setup (which doesn’t include the hours of prep before arriving on site). So just for ON SITE LABOR alone, the lead designer would have to pay out between $15000 and $20000. This does not include ANYTHING but on site labor. And honestly you can’t do this by yourself. Trust me! I asked for the Anita Baker from the 365 Same Ole Love video when she was skating at Northland. Not the trendy (at the time) Toni Braxton. Cause I needed FEATHERED HAIR YOU HEAR ME!! My love for her goes DEEP. My neighbor even had a recording of me singing Rapture when I was about 11 years old. This was top 3 concerts of my life without a doubt!!! And Auntie did all 90 minutes, no opener and no tracks all live musicians!!

My prices are reflective of a service and product (highest quality) combination. When it comes to balloons we dont purchase from retail stores. In the video we see $3.00 for 25 balloons but buyer be aware of what you purchase. The size of the balloon matter as well as the purpose of the purchase. 5" balloons dont float (shouldnt be filled with helium). The 5" are also too small to make a fluffy garland.
