FACTS ABOUT ME...
So today I thought I would share a little about myself with you. The person behind BusyBrides
When I was a young girl I attended Ballroom/Latin Classes and I won various awards . I had the most amazing dresses made just for me. I did Ballet, Tap, Gymnastics, went to Brownies and Guides, attended Salvation Army for 12 years. There really wasn't much that I hadn't done as a child. I've probably missed some...
I started work at around 12 years of age (the days we were allowed) in the library cafe. I ran shoe parties for my neighbour that gave me a huge love for shoes. I worked at Grosvenor Rock factory every summer for 6 weeks (in the stock room, because I wasn't old enough to be in the main factory) I loved that job!
As an adult, I carried on dancing and took up Salsa and even turned by hand to Lambada. I spent much of my youth from my 20's to my 40's in and out of clubs and enjoying everything that life could throw at me.
I've traveled the world extensively. I've visited Thailand, South Africa, India, America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, you name it, I've been there... I've been to yoga holidays across the globe that took me to places that domestic holidays don't reach. I have been visiting a boot camp in Koh Samui for over 20 years. Keeps my weight in check.
Now I'm in my 50's I'm a tad more settled. Still love my Yoga, no kids but two incredibly loyal dogs who love me for me! Needless to say my luxury lifestyle has changed. If you have dogs, you know! but they are my world ;-) Fancy holidays are no more... but I am self confessed workaholic and can't sit still for long.
Oh an I had a hip replacement in my 40's. Probably all that dancing I did. if you look at this photo, you can even see where the hospital left me with a longer leg than my original so now all my trouser suits fall a different lengths. 🤣 Along with the inability to wear any of those amazing stilettoes I own. Now I just look at them. 😆
So that's a more personal side to me. I'm sure this is only half that I can remember, but hopefully a little insight to my world.
