Almost 3.5 years ago, at a rooftop party in crown heights, Mushka and I met. She had compliment my glasses and we exchanged numbers so I could send her the link. Over the years she watched my statuses and told herself that when she gets engaged, she knew who her first vendor would be.

Fast forward to July 18th 2024 - We met again, and this time, on her wedding day as her bridal dresser ✨

It’s those quieter voices in our head that we need to listen to more often. The voices that cheer us on even when we don’t acknowledge them. The voices that give us that extra push which ignites a fire inside us to give an extra 10 minutes when we just feel like quitting.

When someone else compliments us - we listen and glow with a smile.
But those compliments and accomplishments are so often shared right inside of you - it’s just a matter of listening.

Start small. Applaud yourself for a job well done, no matter how big or small. Compliment yourself on a detail about you that makes you unique.

Let’s start loving ourself a little more, day by day. We deserve it.
