Very excited to share I’ve finally started my own YouTube channel, where I’ll be releasing a brand new set every week to watch and enjoy. There’s already a few of them up there, with so many more on the way. 🙌🏼 YouTube has always been my favourite platform and it feels really good to embark on this new journey. Excited and honoured to be back playing at the Haus tonight, our favourite temple of dance 🔥🪩 This time welcoming , an absolute legend in the Underground music scene. Also very excited to be welcoming to the decks as well - this will be an evening not to miss. ⁣

Happy Saturday! I’m excited to share with you my closing set from my debut at a very special after-hours place in Vancouver, You Plus One. ⁣

A little backstory, I first discovered this spot 5 years ago and from the first moment I stepped into the room, my eyes and heart went wide with wonder from these incredible, sophisticated and booming electronic sounds that I’d never heard before. It was warm and inviting, with energy that was electrifying. Some people had even brought their drums 🪘with them, smiling and banging them to the sonic rhythms and deep and rich sounds flowing through the space. ⁣
⁣
Siavash was playing, and it was the first time I’d really heard that style of progressive music, with expansive, beautiful emotional breakdowns and rhythms that were reminiscent of drum circles and the Middle East. The sounds felt familiar, though I’d never heard them before - and I realized in that moment that it felt like home. ( ( 🖤 ) ) ⁣

l decided that night that my dream would be to play there, and for the next 5 years I visited the spot, surrendering to the music on the dance floor, exposing my ears to new incredible artists and of course (like any DJ would do) studied the sounds, taking note of this and that. Things I liked and would later adopt into my own musical expression. ✨⁣

Nov.16, I could not have felt more honoured and excited to close the night with music that not only I feel represented the venue in the best way I could, but with tracks I absolutely love and quite honestly I rarely get to play. ⁣
⁣
This set was an accumulation of 5 years of inspiration and all the love in my heart for a place that I’m truly inspired and grateful for. It absolutely changed my musical trajectory as an artist, I definitely would be a much different DJ if I hadn’t step foot inside the venue for the first time that night 5 years ago. ⁣
⁣
I look forward to the next time we all meet there again. Until then I hope you love this energetic mix from 6-8am at the HAUS, and it brings a little groove and fun into your day. ;)⁣

Happy Tuesday! I realized I never officially released my set supporting Elderbrook at the FVDED in the Park Afterparty … so here it is!⁣

Every set pushes me a little more artistically, and with the honour of opening for such an epic headliner I really went in on the challenge to find some really special supporting tracks that really fit the vibe. A little slowed down, deep, vibey and emotional with still a jungle essence ✨ is what I had in mind, and after playing around and experimenting for a while each track felt really good, and was chosen with real intention. ⁣
⁣
When it came to the night of the show, it could not have felt better to be in charge of the energy rising, and the seeing everyone connecting to each song was on another level of bliss. What a night!! 🪩 ⁣

Inspired by cinematic buildups and progressive deep melodies, heavy hitting bass-lines, eclectic percussion, the movement of house and energy of techno, Victoria has a passion for simply showcasing great music which keeps her from playing within the confines of a single genre. With house music at here core, she enjoys bending and flowing through different tempo ranges and styles, keeping audiences engaged in an energetic experience that is ever-evolving.

Her vision isn't exclusive to showcasing music for larger audiences but to connect, work with and help build an even stronger community around people simply coming together to celebrate and create, for the love of music. Supporting local and developing artists is a continued priority, leaving room in her sets to play tracks from fellow artists, bedroom producers and up-and-comers if the sound fits just right. With a strong belief that talent and great sound should be recognized at any level, few things bring her more joy than letting loose a track from an undiscovered artist or sharing a brand new sound.

Apart from playing a variety of shows and festivals this year, some of her future plans include diving deeper into music production, collaborating on creative projects with local and touring artists, introducing live production into her performances and finding new ways to grow and evolve with others in the music community.
