Hello friends! Life has definitely taken the front seat when it came to my photography the past 2 years from graduating with my masters to having two more babies, it’s been hectic. We welcomed another little love to the family just a week ago and we are over the moon excited for this next chapter as a family of SIX! So here are some answers to questions going forward…

What does this mean for my photography?
Well I plan on trying to get this page going again and building up my clientele again after such a long break from truly pushing my photography career. I love the idea of transparency when it comes to these kind of decisions so you get to know me just a little more! I plan to start booking more sessions in near mid August and will have more flexibility since I am officially staying at home now. Fall sessions do fill up quickly and I am so excited to get back behind the camera again!

Will I do weddings?
I am open to booking several weddings throughout the year and will be available for consultations. Please email me at [email protected] and I will send you information on prices for you to review as well as what all is included in each package option.

Will I have a website?
I am planning on rebranding since it’s been a while and will make up a website that allows clients the ability to book as well as review galleries and packages prior to booking with me. I plan to make this more official in the coming weeks!

To those of you that have continued to book me even when my page has not been that active, THANK YOU! I am loving the chances you guys continue to give me in capturing those precious memories of yours. I appreciate all the likes, comments and shares that you continue to do whenever I had found the time to post, it truly does help more than you know!

First and definitely not the last time I shoot at Humble + Pine studios! They were a fantastic location for these mini sessions and the decorating was absolutely perfect. Thank you everyone who helped take EVERY SLOT I had to offer that day! I am so grateful for new clients, and my trusty repeat families who I continue to watch grow. It's hard to call a family complete without having four little paws around. This couple wanted to include their doggo, but this hyper girl didn't want to sit around for long...the result? Puppy running around in photos but perfectly capturing her personality. Love getting dogs in photos because, let's be honest, they're family.

If you've had a shoot with me, you know that sometimes I go a little weird with my methods. Saying things like "smell here" and "push and pull" may make you look at me with crazy doubt, but it always ends up great! Trust your photographer, the more movement the more natural the photos, and you will love them all that much more.

CHRISTMAS MINI SESSIONS!!!

I have limited availability for December 9th. These will be 20 minute sessions at a local Pataskala studio that is set up in the cutest Christmas decor, you will not want to miss this opportunity.

10:30 - claimed

12:00 - LAST SPOT!!!!!!

Each session will have 20 images sent via an online gallery. I will be charging $200 for each slot.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR SLOT
Simply email me at [email protected] and we will sort out the details including payment. Half of the payment will be required to book your spot while the other half can be paid closer to the date. The first payment is a non refundable deposit, I hope you understand.

Whenever taking family pictures, it's always important to single out the kiddos and the parents, and of course the full family picture. These are the photos you hope they try and recreate as adults, but only time will tell!!

This young couple decided they wanted some engagements pictures at a beach, well being in Ohio, I think we did pretty good! Sunset, a beach, and lovey eyes make for a successful photo shoot in my opinion!

I'm back baby!!! Had my first wedding since I took a break and it felt so good, just like riding a bike. This wedding was personal since I've known this family for many years and had the honor of taking their daughter's wedding photos. It was easily a wedding that will be not be forgotten. Olivia and KJ, I wish you both all the happiness as you start your life together MARRIED!

Seems like my page is all about those babies and toddlers, but honestly, I'm here for it. This is my life at home, so of course it's going to translate into my photography as well haha! This little love turned 1 and could not be any more loved by her older sis, mom and dad. Happy Birthday to this little lady!

Brotherly love is definitely a bond that is easily unmatched, and this family has 3 boys to prove just that. They welcomed their little brother and have already helped him grow and become strong in many ways.

A little tid bit about family sessions, I do try to pull mom and dad away if possible for some updated couple shots. Sometimes this is the only chance for moms and dads to have their own pictures taken, so I try my best to take advantage of that.

A new addition to the family is always exciting and well worth the hype. This mama is expecting a baby boy here soon! What this little guy doesn't realize is that he will have his two big sisters there to help him through the future trials. It's a family full of love and excitement for the future! Turning ONE is best done with chunky thighs and your favorite fox toy to cuddle with. I know I've not posted for a year (could not believe that one for myself!!!) BUT I am trying to pick up on photography a bit more now.

Photography is something I truly enjoy and am so thankful for consistent clients that would reach out to me and ask for sessions even when I'm not posting as consistently as many other photographers. This family right here is one of those amazing clients that give me the honor of capturing basically ALL of their milestones! Engagment, wedding, maternity, newborn, and here we are at ONE YEARS OLD!!!! I am so proud of these guys and so thankful to be their photographer throughout it all.

Feel like you missed your chance for family photos AND you want those fall colors? Well I have decided to offer 2 days of mini session in my own backyard (as pictured!). Here are the details:

$200 (online album included)

Friday, October 14th (three 30 minute slots available)
4:00 pm

Friday, October 21st (three 30 minute slots available)

5:30 pm

In order to claim a spot you will have to message me as well as put down a $100 non-refundable deposit (this goes towards the total cost). These next two weeks are going the be the best bet for those lovely fall colors, so don't miss out! I am located in Pataskala and will give more details to exact location upon booking.

Trust me when I say you will get PLENTY of photos during your session. I can not wait to work with you!

What's a more cozy location than home? Newborn shoots, I have found, are best shot where my clients are most like themselves. Mamas can feed their babies without breaking the heavily guarded routine they created. Dads get to help out with the other kiddos in a familiar setting, or know exactly how to change a diaper since it's not far from the changing table. I do not mind traveling to homes for these kind of shoots because it's just easier for you and the images you get out of it resemble the life you've built.

Reminder that I am booking available for this June and July of this year! Book with me soon to reserve your spot. I am open to mini sessions (30 minute sessions for $150) if that works best for your family.

When at a shoot I deal with kiddos of all different types. The attitudes can range from loving the camera to avoiding it at all costs. I’ve got some tricks to get those smiles you want on your walls and memorable moments between siblings as well.

BRING ON THE BABIES!!!! I have been dealing with a lot of newborns lately and I am NOT mad about it! These little kiddos are bringing joy in a world of uncertainty and it’s just what the doctor ordered.

I know COVID has messed with a lot of parents and their expectations of their hospital stay. I will say that I can still offer a fresh 48 in the room, but be aware of the visitor policies. I had found that at this particular hospital, only one visitor was allowed at a time, which sadly meant the husband had to step out so family could visit and I could snap some pictures. As a part of me wanting to ensure mamas and daddies get everything they want I am going to provide an offer until hospital policies change…

Anyone who wants to book a “Fresh 48” with me, this will also include a session in their own home within two weeks after discharge. Basically, two sessions for one! I hate the idea of missing out on things like this if you truly wanted to capture those moments in the hospital. Here’s a few of what I’ve done recently.

Reflecting on these maternity photos and thinking how quickly and slowly time actually works. Throughout a pregnancy you feel that time flies, except that last month. The days drag and it can be hard to enjoy the bump while waiting for your newest family member to arrive. In a moment, you’ll forget life before that little bundle and forget how long you felt you had to wait.

Anyways, this gal is rocking the bump and not letting it stop her from looking fierce and truly feeling herself! Plus it helps to have a goofy hubs by your side comparing a food baby to your belly!

Hello everyone!

I know it seems that I have been slowing down with the postings on here and there’s a reason for that. Within the past year, life has added up quite a bit and brought on many challenges with one of them being grad school. I only mention this to let you know that I will not be able to book any future weddings at this time. If we have already talked and have a date book, this does NOT apply to you.

With that said, this business has helped get me through school financially and I am incredibly thankful for everyone who has supported me through photography. I also want to mention that I am finding the portrait sessions (seniors, engagement, family, etc…) are much more manageable with my schedule and still very doable.

I want to thank everyone again for putting their trust in me with capturing their real moments with their loved ones. It’s truly a huge honor I don’t take lightly.
