I had a couple set that dream on the map. I will forever be grateful to Cam and Ashley Sloop for entrusting me with the insanity of their wedding day!!! Nothing but a field, an oak tree and those that loved them.❤️❤️❤️

Sometimes in this business you meet kindred spirits and friends. I will forever be grateful for a dream leading me to Jessica Brown and Tin Man Studio. I could legit work with her on a daily. She makes every single thing I “think” I see and “might” look good seem like magic!!

This man right here was 10 the first time I met him. Just a boy. Never in a million years would I have thought that today I would be preparing this venue for his wedding. Yet here we are.
God has this funny way of orchestrating the most amazing relationships. Weaving lives together over years and knowing exactly where those lives will collide to make the most incredible memories.

These are the moments this venue was created to celebrate. I pray this day is everything Joseph and Nichole dreamed it would be. I pray for years of happiness, love, adventure, growth and the kind of boring they will remember most!😉

Meagan and Caison are 30 minutes from saying “I Do”!!! Y’all should see all the work their families have put into making this day perfect! I am blown away. The rain has held off (which is why I’ve waited to post) and this will be the very first The Gilded Oaks wedding outside with those oaks in the background. My heart might burst!!
Congratulations to this beautiful couple! Praying for years of happiness!!

A year of planning and here they are! Wedding weekend for Reid and Grant! Finally, these 2 soul-mates get to say “I Do”.
We pray that their love continues to grow, that the devotion they have for each other and their little family is everlasting and that they continue this adventure of life with the knowledge that they have a partner by their side who can help them thru all the crazy twists life can give!

It’s McMann Wedding Week!!! Excuse me while I become completely obnoxious with posts this week. Ashley and I have been doing life together since she was 19. We have argued, cried, loved and basically acted like sisters. She’s the Ying to my Yang and life wouldn’t be the same without her!
I have been working on this wedding for a year. Thank the good Lord, it’s almost go time!!

Shew!! I’m so late on this congratulations!! It’s been a busy few days and I was so focused on finishing touches that I forgot to post.

It’s funny how life blends together in a small town. My nursing life and this wedding life have brought me people I would have never known and loved otherwise. I have taken care of people who have left us and then get to watch parts of their family grow and love.

“Time marches on” has a new definition for me. It does march on, but I get to see the beauty in that sentiment on an occasional Saturday. Without Scott, I may have never played a part in this weekend.

Congratulations to Ally and Ryan! Y’all made my heart smile this weekend. I pray that your love continues to grow and shine. ❤️❤️❤️

It might be kickoff Fall/Winter wedding season if your kitchen island is covered in floral, you almost forgot you have to be an RN tomorrow and can’t decorate the barn all night, you are giddy from the sheer excitement of how this weekend is going to go and your heart overflows with gratitude from the love this community has given!!

In honor of our Senior, Riyan, the venue stairs and fireplace will be set up for Homecoming pictures tomorrow. There will also be a desert table around 330-4pm.

I just heard Alyssa and John have their first dance from my front steps.

This wedding was a bit distant as I’ve been under the weather this past week and didn’t get any hands on fun with this one.

At times my heart is full of joy but also saddened by these big days. The relationships I get to build and the lives I get to love, sometimes, they are hard to release.
This weekend is one of those. I will miss Hannah Zorn messaging and calling. I will miss her wanting to fit in just “one more” walk-thru so that she knows Emily Grace and Mason’s day is perfect.

This beautiful couple will soon be Mr. and Mrs. Adam’s. They are the definition of old love. The kind where you see a young couple but they have truly loved each other forever and you can feel that. I could not adore them more if I tried.
I pray for a marriage full of love, memories they will forever embrace and a life they will one day sit on a front porch and share with grandchildren.

Please help me congratulate the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Mason Adams!!

I don’t have words for this weekend. In this business there are couples that you stand back and watch from afar and there are couples that become family.
I adore these 2 and feel so blessed to share this day with them. Their love and joy is infectious!!
