This is what 42 cups of elderberries looks like...
😳😳😳

3 over sized stock pots of elderberries, from this summers harvest, were taking up a LOT of space in the freezer... and with fall harvests in full swing, freezer space is in high demand.

So it was time to remove all the stems, condense the storage of the berries and get a final count....

With 42 cups, I'm so excited that we'll have plenty of elderberries to host an Elderberry Tonic workshop this winter!!!! More details to come, stay tuned!!!

It's that time of year again... CANNING TIME!!!!

I can here and there through out the year, but now it's time to get all the fruits, veggies and stock bags out of the freezer to make room for all the meats that we are harvesting, processing, and have butchered!

First up is VENISON... One batch for us, one batch for the dogs!!!

Tazz wanted to wish everyone a 'Happy Friday' while he is enjoying a much deserved week off after working hard this summer and fall!

He met so many amazing children and teens while doing lessons and pony parties, but now it's time for him to relax and eat the last of the greens out to pasture.

Don't worry though! He'll be back to work next week to start preparing for our Jingle Bells Pony Rides event!

As the seasons change, so does life on the farm...

It was with mixed sadness and excitement that two of our spring kids left for their forever home to live their best life 🐐❤️

After a wonderful year making friends everywhere they traveled with our Mobile Petting Farm, Wookie and Jedi are retiring from the public life style. They have found the PERFECT home, with a wonderful family, that will love and spoil them. We could not have asked for better for these two special boys.

Casper, our sweet rabbit that so many of you have loved on and hung out with this summer, ALSO found his forever home with a young lady who will be his special person. He will also go back to being a house bunny! 🐇❤️

We had taken Casper in this spring to help his owner care for an older bunny in the house that needed a quieter environment all her own. Finding Casper a permanent home has always been the mission, and we are SO greatful that he now can settle in with his new person!

We had an AMAZING group join us for our Chicken Processing for Homesteaders: Demonstration yesterday!

The weather was perfect, the questions and conversions were great, the birds were dispatched quickly and humanely and everyone left with new skills and beautiful, farm fresh chicken!

I forgot to get a group picture, but here are a few shots from yesterday!
